Can't see your picture right know, anon, however we've caught stuff like this a number of times in the past. It's been going on for a long time where news agencies just grab a stock photo of something when they don't have a photo or they don't want to use the real photo. Seems more people will look at a story if it includes an image. What a world.
I've had worms twice in my life. Both times I just described the worm to the doctor and was given medication, don't know the name of it. They didn't test me or take a sample.
Could be any number of reasons. You never know when you're going to have a reaction to a drug, it might conflict with other drugs you take, the dosing may have been wrong, so many things.
some anon posted recently that you can also eat tobacco to treat parasites. You have to read up on it so you don't eat too much and hurt yourself, like most things.

I used to soak loose leaf rolling tobacco in water and then use the water to spray on my plants to get rid of aphids. You have to dilute it. I learned the hard way if the mixture is too strong it kills the bugs AND the plants.
