Pray for those in harms way. This is going to bad. Really bad. Storm is strengthening and organizing and sustained winds are at 150 mph.

The area it is going to hit is one of the lowest and most populated and by coming in west of the Mississippi delta the water will be wind stacked inland compounding things. A great many had little time to prepare or evacuate and are now in extreme danger. It will be a miracle if we do not lose many, many Americans this morning.

Your prayers are more powerful than most. Please pray for these souls.

May God bless you all and protect his children in harms way.

Thank you.

Day or night, it's bad. I live in hurricane country near the coast and nothing humbles like these monsters. The sound of great trees snapping around you never leaves your memory. Night adds to the terror, but not the danger. Late afternoon means time critical rescues are done at night. There is no good for terrible disaster, but early morning leaves the day for the life saving work that in this case will surely be needed, but getting to the victims will be another challenge. Everything will be underwater in this area.
