Training and caring for one's own children is the responsibility of the child's parent. It is not the responsibility of the government, and should not be handed over to the government. Get the government out of schools. Homeschool, or small private schools. At least for grade school. Then when they are of high school age, they can go to a junior college to learn a trade. Or arrange for an apprenticeship. Get rid of these mega high school prisons with their stupid sports teams and proms. Kids can play select sports outside of the schools. Sports and Arts should be separate.

Home Based learning, the parents run the show, not the government.
