So, there's an ongoing debate that fixing the image problem via editing the host file is a trap. It's proven to work and one can ping 8kun to verify IP but some say it's still a bad Idea. I'm not too puter savvy. Do you (or anyone here) know the answer?

There are multiple cache servers both in my control and outside of my control. This way is not the best solution and I won’t say it is good. If it works for you then you are taking that risk. I am glad it works but there is risk
