Former child star Matthew Mindler, 19, found dead after being reported missing

Child actor Matthew Mindler has been found dead at the age of 19, just three days after the college freshman was reported missing.

Millersville University revealed the devastating news in an announcement to the student body Saturday.

Actor and student Matthew Mindler was found dead days after he was reported missing.

“It is with a grieving heart that I let you know of the death of 19-year-old Matthew Mindler from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a first-year student at Millersville University. A search had been underway for Matthew since Thursday, after he was reported missing,” it read.

“Matthew was found deceased this morning, Saturday, August 28, in Manor Township near campus. Matthew was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center by the coroner for further investigation.”

Officials did not disclose the cause of death or whether foul play is suspected.

Mindler was last seen leaving his dorm room building Tuesday night.

A missing adult report was filed after Mindler’s family said he “did not return to his room or return phone calls from his family” Wednesday. He was last seen leaving his dorm room building around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24, and failed to show up to his classes the following morning.

Mindler co-starred with Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and Zooey Deschanel in 2011’s “My Idiot Brother.” His last role was that of a character named Peter in 2016 TV movie, “Chad: An American Boy,” according to IMDB.

Anon opines that they couldn't afford to have that one develop a mind while at college…he might've said something and not kept secrets… just a guess.

For the technologically curious who are trying to get images back, there is a video on how to edit your "host file"

Briefly:

1) You must enable seeing hidden files / folders in your File Explorer

2) You must find the host file: Found here on most PCs C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

3) Copy the file titled: hosts

4) Paste on to your desktop

5) On MOST systems it will look like this (open in Notepad)

6) Take these IP Addresses and domains and copy paste them into the file:

8) Paste or drag the 'hosts' file back into the folder from where it came. You will need Administrator privileges to (just enable them if/when the message comes up)

9) Close & Save

10) REFRESH the 8kun.top page.

You should be good to go.

not sure exactly.

i imagine it's the same file structure or similar.

try it as I've laid it out. otherwise, you'll have to find a video for changing the "hosts" file in Win7.

but really, I can't imagine it being too differnt.

enable the "see hidden files / folders" in the file system viewer.

search for "etc"

should get you there…but only take this approach if you have a clue as to what you're doing (like, my mom - no way).

the part about the IP addresses and the new 'hosts' file should be the same. All you're doing is helping the omcputer find the domain via the IP address.

not sure the overall networking mechanics, but (presumably)somebody is fucking with the global DNS to 8kun media files….and that is why we havent' been able to see images.

hard coding the IP → Domain in the 'hosts' file makes things "definitive" for lack of a better term.

we're all fucked however, if the Watkins / 8kun team change server IP address or domains.
