Let me add that 11 months after my father in law passed away wife anon and I moved from Illinois to Texas. The move was somewhat turbulent which had wife anon anxious and depressed thinking we had made a huge mistake. One day, about two months after arriving in Texas wife anon was browsing at the local Goodwill. It was nearing Christmas and there was a small, decorative sleigh lying face down in the aisle. Wife anon went to pick it up and put it on a shelf and was astonished to read the inscription on the top side of the sleigh. It read…Merry Christmas Colleen. Wife anons name. She broke down in tears in the store but bought the sleigh. It gets prominently displayed on our fireplace mantle every Christmas now. She relayed that when she saw that felt her father speaking to her. She was comforted and knew everything would work out ok (it has, too). Your Dad is still with you as my wife Ann’s Dad is still with us, speaking to us when necessary.
