I try to be secure but if I aren't well, maybe my arrest (?) etc will wake some people near me up.
well they definitely listen via phones, you can tell by the new ads that you are served by Youtube that relate directly back to what you have been talking about.
I've found you can test it by talking about something you are not interested in, and then Youtube will serve me up an ad for it.
I'm the only person I know in meatspace with location services off, permanently.
It seems to work, but I am aware that they could have rootkitted it so it appears off.
