Absolutely, there are dizzy troubles in EVERY generation… however from personal experience, as the child of self-described ‘Boomers’, my own parents and their friends did the most to throw water on me when i tried to point out the gross inequities and overreaching of the Government THEY were so proud to pay tribute taxation to… My parents and their friends, did the most to rationalize and explain away and shrug their shoulders with every growing line of bullshit coming out fo the evening News and Print.
A few occasions, when i was very young, they dropped a hint or two two keep an eye for criminals in government… but on balance always increasing with the years as they took more and more bribes and lies from local, state and federal government… they fell for the trappings and eventually went TOO far quipping how it would be my mess to clean up.
