I miss that strength and candor at the same time!
The command was to be fruitful and multiply! Procreation was not sin, when sin entered into the world (after Eve convinced Adam to go against the one thing that God had asked them not to do), then lust was mixed into the very beautiful act of procreation. The sin nature entered through the corrupt blood of man (passed down by the man's sperm), but also other animals and plants were also corrupted (i.e. "thorns and thistles grew"). We are here now after thousands of years trying to look back at a time we really can't even conceive of in our minds! What was it even like without sin? How beautiful and vibrant were their bodies - bodies that had never even been ill before? There are so many things to consider.
