Problem there is that attaching a ligand to ACE-2 causes receptors to proliferate in a feed forward manner. Seems like a game against time.

 

ACE-2 activation by functional ligands also sets into motion critical systems (RAS-Angoitensin, etc) that are dangerous to fuck with.
