No human can fill that void. The love you want is God. You have a desire in your heart that you doubt and so it hurts. Desires from the heart are supposed to come true that’s why when we doubt, it hurts. So then you realize that you can choose the better feeling thoughts. The better feeling thoughts soothe because they come from God.
After a little practice you realize u can have a relationship with God because you can feel God. You can feel when you “separate” by the emotional discomfort-doubt, fear, worry, loneliness.. A desire you believe you can have feels good. One you doubt feels bad but ALL desires from the heart come from God and if you have faith (simply by choosing the thoughts that feel better) then God HAS to answer. God promised. In fact, when you have a desire in your heart, that’s God telling you heads up because I’m about to give you this. But then we look with our eyes and don’t see it n then we start doubting what God just told us. But if u stay believing and u keep choosing the thought that feels better then it comes true.
It is us who let ourselves down by not having faith. But then what happens is that you realize you can think your own self out of pain and that the conditions around you don’t need to change before you can feel better. THAT IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Unconditional love doesn’t mean look at someone doing something awful and love them. No. Unconditional love is when no matter the conditions around you, you know how to choose the better feeling thoughts and maintain your connection room to God.
When we say we love someone, that person is simply the excuse we use to have certain thoughts that activate the feeling of love to come forth from us.. but that’s your own love inside your heart you feel. That shit has nothing to do with anybody because the next day that same person you adored the day before turned into a real bitch and now you don’t think the thoughts that activate the love… but that love is GOD. It’s so freeing when you learn unconditional love because you stop reacting to the conditions around you and you get control and feel good. Then if you feel bad you know why and u can just change your thoughts again to the opposite of what hurts n u feel the relief.
But wait.. there’s moar! Once you get good at maintaining your connection with god regardless of what’s going on around you then you feel empowered and happy and you begin to attract others to you n then God answers your prayers, every single one no matter how impossible the little human mind thinks. God has no obstacles, limits or hurdles. When we ask, it is given but then we can shoot ourselves in the foot via doubt or impatience. You start to feel good all the time for no reason n then your life transforms.
