Trump negotiated with the Taliban awhile back. If the old Afghanistan government had stayed, China would have gotten everything they wanted and needed from the country. He warned everyone about how the Taliban are "very tough fighters" at his last rally. Now China will get none of what their greedy little eyes were wanting.
