The written word can convey both lies and truth, and often there is no easy way of differentiating between them.

Rather than going through life labelling information as true or false, I have found it preferable to assign probabilities to each quantum factoid. As new information presents itself, the probabilities can change.

This approach avoids cognitive dissonance and allows the processing of mutually conflicting items of information.

Fact checkers are garbage, they cannot be trusted to be impartial and often start with their preferred answer and then assemble the necessary sophisms to justify their decision.
