EvergreenColorado Mansion for sale $11.9 million down from $12.5 million and originally $17.5 million. "Inspired by the Biltmore" and this thing is enormous and filled with limestone and marble. 4 stories, the entire staircase has a solid limestone railing.
Anon saw a utube video, random and was intrigued- who would build this thing in the mountains? As a spec home? Lots of black and white marble floors, every surface is real, no faux marble or limestone here, it's the real deal. The property is on 35 pristine acres and at 119 million they might break even, hard to say. The sales video states the owners (Russell and Cynthia (nee Buster) Veselka spent over 8 years building it and only lived in it 8 months.
I got curious and dug a bit. It got curious all right.

The most interesting thing about the whole look-see turned out to be not the location EVERGREEN, nor the BILTMORE homage but rather WHERE Randall's businesses operate- specifically.

Not ALL the States, THOSE States. Clearly it's not a region specific business.

One more thing that caught my eye, from the DTI homepage:
"From the DTI website
"Randy began his career in 1985 as owner and operator of Texas Electronic Surveillance Company, a security service specializing in corporate telecommunications systems and industrial closed circuit electronic systems"

This is spoopy. IMHO. Very very spoopy.
The sales video is 41+ minutes long but it's quite the tour. Hidden rooms, all kinds of oddities to be found:
