Hear me out on this hypothetical:

We know the Taliban in Afghanistan said Trump is the legit leader of USA and they'll only negotiate with him. We also know we're watching a movie. What if the Trump-controlled military pulled out of Afghanistan in a deal w./ the Taliban, and all of the stories of Americans left behind are theatrical optics to hurt Biden? What if, in reality, there are many fewer or no Americans left behind? I know that the end isn't for everyone and I'm painfully aware that innocents have and will loose their lives in this war, but maybe this one is part of the show? I read somewhere that big Pharma is having to turn to Tasmania now for the type of poppies used to make oxycodon, so the loss of afghanistan feels like it could be a white hat move despite the appearance.
