Media Melts Down After Joe Rogan Says He Recovered From Covid in 3 Days After Taking Ivermectin, Z-Pak

Highly popular podcast host Joe Rogan on Wednesday announced he had to move his comedy tour schedule around because he came down with Covid on Saturday night.

Rogan, 54, said he was “feeling weary” on Saturday evening and developed a fever and headache over night.

“So we threw the kitchen sink at it, all kinds of meds,” Rogan said in a video post to his Instagram page.

Rogan said he recovered in 3 days after taking monoclonal antibodies, Ivermectin, Z-pak, prednisone, IV vitamin drip.

“…and here we are on Wednesday and I feel great. I really only had one bad day – Sunday sucked, but Monday was better, Tuesday felt better than Monday and today I feel good,” Rogan said.

The corporate media melted down and attacked Joe Rogan for his skepticism on Covid vaccines and for taking a “horse dewormer” (Ivermectin).

“Rogan did not reveal if he’s been vaccinated against the coronavirus but said he’s been taking a number of medications, mentioning a Z-Pak, prednisolone and ivermectin, which is given to livestock and not recommended for the treatment of COVID-19.” The Hill reported.

“Joe Rogan announced that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. He said he took a series of medications, including ivermectin, but did not make any mention of the vaccine.” Axios whined.

“Joe Rogan, a podcasting giant who has been dismissive of vaccination has Covid” – The New York Times rage reported.

“Joe Rogan says he has Covid, took widely discredited horse drug ivermectin. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration last month urged people to stop believing misinformation that the livestock treatment would help cure Covid-19.” ABC News reported.

The media is angry that Joe Rogan, who is likely unvaccinated, recovered so easily from Covid by taking Ivermectin and a Z-pak.

DESPERATION: Gavin Newsom Says ‘More People Will Die’ If He Is Recalled As Governor

Gavin Newsom is obviously worried about his chances in the California recall election in two weeks.

Rather than pointing to anything positive he has done as governor, he is now saying that more people will die if he is removed from office.

Newsom’s closing message: More people will die if I’m recalled

Republicans harnessed pandemic anger months ago to qualify the recall election against California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Now the Democrat is banking on a pandemic strategy of his own to save his job.

After tiptoeing around Covid-19 issues early this summer, Newsom is issuing mask and vaccine mandates and taking a tough-on-the-virus approach in the final stretch of the recall campaign.

The tactics have turned the race into the nation’s biggest referendum on how to fight the pandemic — and further inflamed partisan divisions over public health. Just as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis thinks banning mandates is a winning message in his red state, Newsom hopes voters will embrace his more restrictive Covid-19 approach in deep-blue California.

“There is no more consequential decision to the health and safety of the people of the state of California than voting no on this Republican-backed recall,” Newsom said Tuesday at a vaccine event in Oakland two weeks before the recall election. He said that “the starkest contrast” exists between him and the Republican candidates who would rather go the way of Texas and Florida, states with more lax protocols and subsequently lower vaccine rates and higher virus cases.

George Soros is now pumping cash into the state to save Newsom.

And Bernie Sanders is trying to save Newsom too.

WOW! Can’t Make This Up: Biden Admin to Help Build New Border Facilities on Tajikistan and Afghanistan Border to Respond to Security Threats

Illegal aliens continue to flood across the open US southern border in record numbers.

A record 210,000 illegals from dozens of countries crossed the open US border in July of this year – a 21-year high.

The Biden Administration believes this is a good thing.

They continue to destroy this country and they see that as progress.

But the Biden regime is determined to protect Tajikistan and its borders with neighboring countries including Afghanistan.

The Biden administration will help build new facilities for border guards in Tajikistan.

They believe a secure border in Tajikistan is a good thing.

Reuters reported:

The United States will help build new facilities for border guards in Tajikistan along the Central Asian country’s frontier with Afghanistan and Uzbekistan to better respond to security threats, the U.S embassy in Dushanbe said on Wednesday.

The new facility, which will be built in Tajikistan’s southwestern tip, will replace an outdated detachment and allow border guards to “deploy forces more quickly to border areas in response to threats,” the embassy said.

Mossad projecting????

Former Israeli Agent and Researcher: “Kabul is Phase One on the Way to Conquering the World”

Mordechai Kedar was a member of IDF intelligence for 25 years. The Researcher at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, internationally known scholar, columnist and lecturer, spoke to Italian journalist Giulio Meotti about the fall of Kabul.

“Kabul is pumping new blood into the arteries of the jihad and the results are seen all over the world. We must understand that the Islamic mentality is a ‘zero sum game’. When Islam wins, Christianity loses and the ‘crusaders’ lose. They always see a connection between what happened in the 10th century and what happens in the 21st century”, said Kedar.

“Islam progresses, state by state, continent by continent. Today they speak of conquering Rome after Constantinople, the capital of the Eastern Church, while Rome is the capital of the Western Church. Having conquered the Eastern Church in 1453, they are now marching on Rome. We hear this clearly from radical Islam. Kabul is only one phase of a global plan. They think it is proof that their path is the right one. They think they have defeated Western culture, embodied by America, which wanted to spread Westernism in the Islamic world. The battle is always cultural, before one for the land or for people”.

Now in Kabul the battle is between the Taliban and the Islamic State, Kedar says. “I think the Taliban will win because they have a stronger tribal base. There is no Afghanistan, it is just a name that the British gave it. There is also no Afghan language. The Taliban may be more cautious in supporting al Qaeda against America. September 11 was the Pearl Harbor of the Islamic world. But the Islamic State survived the defeat in Syria and Iraq, it is now an idea, present in Sinai, Nigeria, Libya, Yemen, the Philippines, Khorasan … They will try to take advantage of it”.

Hegira: Immigration Jihad

“It is the very nature of Jihad, which is not only a military war, but also a ‘strenuous effort’. And this includes both the military aspect, and also economic jihad: Like Qatar providing money to Islamists in the Middle East such as Hamas. Then there is a media jihad, like Al Jazeera. There is a political jihad, in which Islamists enter European parliaments, to fight those countries from within. And there is the ‘Hegira’ jihad, the Jihad of immigration, which is another manifestation. And we see it very well in Italy. The largest mosque in Europe is in Rome. And what they do in the streets of France, burning churches and physically attacking priests, praying en masse in the open. All they do is strengthen Islam at the expense of other cultures. There is a verse from the Koran, ‘Allah is with those who have patience”.

Europe, Kedar explains , is the final spoils. “The conquest of Europe by mostly illegal immigration and with a higher birth rate than the European peoples. And then the imposition of halal food on schools in the West, the attempts to silence church bells and the imposition of sharia law on public spaces in immigrant neighborhoods in Western Europe. It’s time to wake up, understand and take the necessary steps, before it’s too late”.

It’s time to wake up, before it’s too late

August 15, Kedar concludes, will be remembered in the Islamic world for decades. “Muslims have a great historical memory. It was no coincidence that September 11 was chosen as the date to attack New York, because on September 11, 1683, the Turkish armies were defeated at the gates of Vienna. And since then the Western world has grown stronger and stronger against Islam. September 11 was chosen for a great historical revenge.”

In June 1983, interviewed by Austrian TV, Pope John Paul II said, recalling the enterprise of the Polish king Jan Sòbieski who joined the Duke Charles of Lorraine: “You will commemorate the hour of destiny when, exactly 300 years ago, the city of Vienna was saved from the conquest that was looming, thanks to the joint efforts of Christianity … This very important event will remind today’s Christians of their common responsibility towards Europe ”.

Who today – which Pope, intellectual or politician – would deliver such a speech without incurring, not only an Islamic fatwa, but also Western ex-communication for islamophobia?

Giulio Meotti is an Italian journalist with Il Foglio and writes a twice-weekly column for Israel National News, where this article first appeared.

Fauci Says He Hopes to Get Emergency Use Authorization to Vaccinate Children Under 12 in Coming Weeks

President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci told CNN on Wednesday that he is hopeful that there will be an emergency use authorization to vaccinate children under 12-years-old in the coming weeks.

Speaking to Wolf Blitzer, the controversial figure said that it is possible there could be enough data collected to make a decision by the end of September.

“We hope as soon as possible, Wolf,” Fauci said. “Right now the data are being collected… We should have enough of the data to examine and make a decision as we get into late September, the beginning of October. Then the data will be presented to the FDA and the FDA will make a determination whether they will grant that under an emergency use authorization or some other mechanism.”

Fauci said he expects to have data from “at least in one of the companies” by the end of September.

Asked if it would be available for our youngest children by Thanksgiving, Fauci said “I hope so, Wolf.”

“You don’t want to get ahead of the FDA. They’re an independent organization. They’ll do their thing. They do it very well. They preserved our safety of people in this country with interventions like vaccines and they also make a determination if it’s effective. I hope that gets done quickly so we can get those younger children vaccinated.”

Fauci believes that children should be required to get vaccinated to go to school.

“This is not something new. We have mandates in many places in schools, particularly public schools, that if in fact you want a child to come in — we’ve done this for decades and decades requiring (vaccines for) polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis,” Fauci told CNN. “So this would not be something new, requiring vaccinations for children to come to school.”

NHTSA Adds 12th Crash To Tesla Investigation, Is Requesting An "Exhaustive" And "Sweeping" Amount Of Autopilot Data

The NHTSA appears that it could be digging in with Tesla, especially in the wake of yet another Autopilot accident involving a first responder vehicle that we reported on just hours ago.

The regulatory agency, which announced a broad and formal investigation into the company's Autopilot feature just days ago, has now added a 12th crash into the scope of its investigation, CNBC reported this week.

It is demanding that Tesla provide an "exhaustive" amount of data about Autopilot before October 22. Phil Koopman, a professor at Carnegie Mellon, characterized the regulator's request for data as "really sweeping".

He continued: "This is an incredibly detailed request for huge amounts of data. But it is exactly the type of information that would be needed to dig in to whether Tesla vehicles are acceptably safe.”

The agency was likely prompted by a crash in Orlando days ago involving a Tesla that "narrowly" missed hitting a State Trooper. The Tesla driver had the Autopilot engaged during the accident, according to police.

The NHTSA recently said it had opened a formal investigation into the company's Autopilot feature. It said it is opening a probe into Tesla's Model X, S, and 3 for model years 2014-2021. The broad range of models and model years means that this could be the broad investigation that Tesla skeptics have been requesting for years.

Even Tesla founder Elon Musk doubts Tesla's "Full Self Driving" Beta version 9.2, calling it "actually not great" in a casual conversation on Twitter.

Opinions on some online forums as to whether or not Musk's feet will finally be held to the fire differ. But we can't help but think the unfortunate reality is that Musk will drag on the process and somehow wind up getting away with it, as he does, again..

‘War zone’: Sweden rocked by two overnight explosions, and politician points to gang-crime

A Swedish MP has said his country is starting to look like a war zone after a city and town saw explosions during the night, with one death reported, amid a gang-crime epidemic in the once-peaceful nation.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, police in Sweden were called to a residential estate in the town of Varnamo where a man was found severely injured after a reported explosion. He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries. The explosive charge was so powerful that it was heard in large parts of the town, police told reporters.

The Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet, citing police sources, said the deceased man had accidentally blown himself up. It is believed he was carrying a bomb and intended to threaten or scare “witnesses.”

The individual in question had connections to a motorbike gang, Johan Borg, operational coordinator for the Varnamo police, told reporters at a press conference on Thursday. Other emergency service personnel were also called to the scene of the explosion.

Meanwhile, the city of Helsingborg was also shaken by an explosion in the early hours on Thursday morning, although the events are not thought to be linked. A property had its windows and doors blown out and considerable damage was caused to a house opposite.

Bomb experts were called to the scene, but it is understood that there aren’t any suspects so far. Residents told local media that there was a strong smell of gunpowder following the explosion. The explosions come amid escalating gang-violence and an epidemic of crime.

Swedish MP Johan Forssell said on Twitter that Sweden was resembling a “war zone,” adding that the country needs to get rid of criminal gangs and restore security.

‘Enough’: Australian newspaper The Age comes out against extended lockdown in fiery editorial

Australia’s The Age newspaper has sparked fresh division in Victoria after publishing an extensive editorial article harshly criticizing the state government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and recent lockdown extensions.

On Wednesday, the paper published an editorial headlined “Victoria can’t go on like this.” The piece condemned Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews and the Labor State Government over its extension of harsh lockdown measures and a lack of evidence to back them up.

The restrictions were maintained despite officials conceding it was no longer possible to achieve zero cases in the state – an ambitious pursuit championed by Andrews.

“There comes a point, and The Age believes that point has been reached, where the damage caused by the harshest and longest lockdowns in the country needs to be more seriously factored in,” the editorial reads.

On social media, it immediately sparked a divide in the already polarized Victoria between those supportive of the premier’s continued lockdowns and those who have had enough.

The paper noted the concessions that Andrews said would be made after reaching a 70% vaccination rate, such as extending allowed travel distance to 10km from 5km, but implied they were not enough. “The night curfews remain in Melbourne, despite limited evidence they make a difference,” it added.

Mental health repercussions and damage to the young Victorians’ education were also at the heart of The Age’s appeal. “Enough,” they declared, imploring Andrews that the state “needs hope.”

No more lectures about compliance. No more measures that have limited if any evidence to back them just in case they might assist around the edges.

It added that it was not arguing for a total end to restrictions, but that the government should “work out those that could be lifted at minimal risk to health but with maximum benefit to Victorians” and move towards a “more balanced position.”

“The state can no longer live like this,” the editorial concludes.

The statement resonated with many on social media who supported the paper’s stance, but others were quick to mock it.

Lawyer Representing 17 Jan. 6 Defendants Has Mysteriously Gone Missing: Court Filings

An attorney who is representing 17 accused Jan. 6 Capitol breach defendants has disappeared, possibly suffering from COVID-19, according to a court filing on Monday.

Acting U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillips said in a court document (pdf) that nearly 20 cases related to the Jan. 6 incident are not proceeding after John Pierce, the lawyer, went missing.

Pierce, according to the court filing, is “reportedly ill with COVID-19, on a ventilator, and unresponsive.” Pierce’s law firm associate, Ryan Marshall—who is not a licensed attorney—has been appearing in Pierce’s place at court hearings and proceedings. Marshall also was the one who revealed Pierce’s alleged hospitalization and condition, said the filing.

The lawyer, who generally posts on Twitter several times per day, has not posted since Aug. 20.

“Because Mr. Pierce is unavailable and Mr. Marshall cannot ethically or legally represent Mr. Pierce’s clients,” Phillips said, “the government is making the Court aware of Mr. Pierce’s reported illness so that it can take any steps it believes necessary to ensure the defendant’s rights are adequately protected while Mr. Pierce remains hospitalized.”

But later in the court filing, the U.S. attorney’s office said it obtained “conflicting information about Mr. Pierce’s health and whereabouts.”

When it was revealed publicly that Pierce was hospitalized with COVID-19, a report from NPR, citing unnamed sources, said that he may have been suffering from dehydration, exhaustion, and is believed to have symptoms related to COVID-19.

And a colleague of Pierce, Brody Womack, told Business Insider that Pierce “appears to have been suffering from dehydration and exhaustion in relation to his tireless work on behalf of his clients, including the many defendants he represents in connection with the January 6, 2021 protest at the Capitol.”

On Aug. 26, Marshall appeared in place of Pierce, telling a U.S. attorney’s assistant that he hasn’t had any contact with Pierce and adding that one of his friends “had told him that Mr. Pierce was sick with COVID-19 and another had said he was not,” the filing said.

“From the government’s perspective,” said Phillips’ office, “given Mr. Pierce’s reported illness and the fact that Mr. Marshall is not a licensed attorney, this case is effectively at a standstill.”

Even though Marshall “has been the government’s main or sole point of contact for many of the defendants represented by Mr. Pierce, the government does not believe it appropriate to continue to communicate with him in Mr. Pierce’s absence, during which he would necessarily be acting without supervision by a licensed attorney,” the court document said.

Some of Pierce’s clients said they are starting to become concerned.

Paul Rae, an alleged Proud Boy from Florida who has pleaded not guilty, told ABC News on Monday that he is “a bit concerned” about the lawyer’s health and the overall situation regarding his representation. An associate of Pierce, Rae said, told him that the attorney isn’t on a ventilator and is recovering.

“Unless I’m being lied to, I’m hearing ‘Don’t be concerned,'” Rae told the network. “I don’t know what’s going on.”

The Epoch Times contacted Pierce’s office for comment. When reached for comment via telephone, the phone lines for his law firm appeared to be disconnected.

Oregon School superintendent reportedly canned for enforcing statewide mask mandate

An Oregon superintendent is out of a job after he reportedly refused to ignore the governor's statewide mask mandate, the Daily Mail reports.

The Adrian School Board fired former Superintendent Kevin Purnell on Monday for his decision to uphold Democratic Gov. Kate Brown's statewide mask mandate in public K-12 schools.

Board Chair Eddie Kincaid said after the meeting that the "decision was due to Purnell's failure to follow board directive," but did not specifically mention masks. According to a report from the Oregonian, both Purnell's supporters and critics said that his stance put him at odds with the school board.

Purnell tearfully told board members and the rest of his community that he is "tired of disappointing" his colleagues by enforcing the statewide mask mandates despite what the outlet says is his "personal opposition to them."

The Oregonian added that he said he had, at times, "failed to communicate well and that board members had at times failed to communicate in a civil manner."

"Ultimately, I feel that I have lost my way, and it began to consume me," he said in an emotional speech. "I have become tired. Tired of disappointing myself, my family, my friends, my colleagues."

Purnell worked as superintendent for three years and spent the last 14 working for the district.

He concluded his emotional speech with a push for unity and quoted Ephesians 6:12, which reads, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

What else?

The Daily Mail reported that Oregon's deputy superintendent of public instruction, Colt Gill, said that school administrators have a duty to uphold the governor's mask mandate.

"We have a shared priority to reliably return students to a full-time, in-person school this year," he said. "Face coverings are proven to slow the spread of COVID-19. I say this knowing that face coverings aren't the argument. Personal freedom is the argument. But, with personal freedom comes responsibility, not only for ourselves, but for our neighbors."

Brown announced the implementation of the mask mandate earlier in August, telling administrators that the "highly contagious Delta variant has changed everything," and warned that "flouting mask requirements will put everything we have worked toward in the last year at risk."

An interim superintendent has not been named at the time of this reporting.

President Trump Releases New Ad Slamming, Exposing Biden Regime, Failures In Afghanistan

President Donald Trump has released a new advertisement about Joe Biden and the Afghanistan Disaster.

President Donald Trump has released a new advertisement exposing the Biden regime’s mishandling of the Afghanistan disaster.

As America reels from Joe Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, President Donald Trump has released a new advertisement exposing the failures of the Biden regime over the sad situation that they caused in the Middle East. “A heartbreaking loss for the United States and it’s great Military. We must have hostages released and our Military equipment returned, NOW!” President Trump said in a statement.

The video shows how wrong Biden was about Afghanistan not becoming a “terrorist base” by revealing news reports now describing the region as “Disneyland for terrorists.”

DATA: Nearly 50% of Young Europeans Say Govts Using COVID for ‘Control’

Nearly half of young Europeans are skeptical of their government’s motives surrounding pandemic-related restrictions such as lockdowns and vaccine mandates, reveals a new European Council on Foreign Relations poll.

The September 1st report notes that “one of the clearest consequences [of the COVID-19 pandemic] so far is a surge in cynicism among young people about governments’ intentions.”

“The poll shows that younger people are less likely to believe that the main motivation of governments in introducing pandemic-related restrictions is to limit the spread of the virus,” the think tank summarizes in comparison to older generations.

23 percent of respondents aged 30 and under felt that “their government mainly wishes to create the appearance of control” through the implementation of pandemic-related restrictions while an additional 20 percent felt that “governments are using the pandemic as an excuse to increase their control of the public.”

Donald Trump: All U.S. States Should Go to Paper Ballots, Same-Day in-Person Voting, Voter ID

BEDMINSTER, New Jersey — Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News that all states should ditch voting machines and return solely to paper ballots, in addition to eliminating early voting and instituting voter ID requirements coast to coast.

Asked during a nearly two-hour interview at his golf club last week what reforms he thinks could fix the system and restore confidence in American elections, Trump listed several things he hopes states will implement to reform the system.

“Voter ID is very important,” Trump told Breitbart News. “Frankly, going to paper ballots is better than anything you can do — paper ballots. Going to paper ballots. You know, Canada uses paper ballots. I think going to paper ballots would be the best thing if you want to have accurate elections. Countries that do paper ballots — solidly watched paper ballots — those are the ones that work. And stop the mail-in ballots unless it’s for military and overseas or very sick people, people that just can’t vote — and they have to have some kind of a real excuse. I think paper ballots, same-day voting would be great. Those things, you’d straighten out your elections.”

Canada does use paper ballots. In fact, late last year in November 2020, Canadian election officials made that clear in a public statement:

Trump also said during the interview he is encouraged by some actions taken at the grassroots level to reform elections across the country, particularly in Texas where the state legislature just cleared final hurdles to get a bill through to Gov. Greg Abbott (R) who is expected to sign it soon. Trump, though, had harsh words for Georgia — the state’s new law has been viciously criticized by the left, but Trump thinks it does not go far enough. He said Gov. Brian Kemp (R) weakened the proposal.

“Georgia’s new law is not strong,” Trump said. “Texas’s new law is strong. Georgia’s new law is not strong because the governor of Georgia didn’t want it to be strong. It’s better than it was, but it’s not strong.”

Trump also said that Republicans need to focus not just on the future — 2022, 2024, and beyond — but also on exposing what he says happened last year.

“The single biggest topic for the Republican Party is the voter fraud of 2020 — not 2022, not 2024,” Trump said. “You’ll never get to 2024, you’ll never get to 2022.”

He pointed to various audits from around the country, like in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania as important. But he said the establishment media ignoring voter fraud and election issues make it harder to get his side of the story out.

“Here’s the question. This is a new phenomena. This is what happens with Communism. You can’t have a scandal if nobody writes about it.” Trump said, “Look at what they’re finding in Georgia. Look at what they’re finding in Arizona. I mean, Arizona they want to recheck and double-check — people can’t even believe. Look, that’s being done by the Senate, not by me. But people can’t believe the kinds of numbers coming out. They’re massive. Now, you’re starting in Wisconsin. Now, Pennsylvania is moving because they said, ‘wait a minute.’”

Trump is also watching what is coming out from broader national pushes to investigate what happened last year. Asked about a recent report on a forthcoming investigation from True the Vote — one such election integrity group — that claims it has obtained cell phone GPS ping data from hundreds of alleged “ballot traffickers” who allegedly went to multiple ballot drop boxes in key cities in a number of these swing states multiple times, Trump said he thinks it is a “big deal.”

“This is a big deal. This is a big deal. I know — I’ve been hearing about it,” Trump said of True the Vote’s forthcoming investigation.

The group says it has obtained surveillance video from ballot drop boxes in Georgia to back up its case and those videos will be coming out soon, as Breitbart News has recently reported.

Tory MP Tom Tugendhat Says Taliban are Running a ‘Slick PR Operation Masking a Death Cult’

Leading Tory MP Tom Tugendhat has said that the Taliban’s claims that Britons trapped in Afghanistan will be able to leave and promises of rights for women are nothing more than an example of “a slick PR operation masking a vicious death cult.”

On Wednesday, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen told Good Morning Britain that anyone “with proper documents” including British citizens will be able to leave the country as soon as civilian flights begin to fly again.

“Every Afghan citizen who is intending to go abroad to another country and has proper documents like passports, visas – they can go. And they can also come to Afghanistan,’ he said.

“But we urge them to stay in Afghanistan. As we have gained our independence, it is time for all Afghans to build their country. their capacities, their talents are direly needed.”

The Islamist spokesman went on to say that the Taliban will respect the human rights of women and that terror cells such as al Qaeda will not be allowed to operate.

Responding to the claims, Tory MP and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Commons, Tom Tugendhat said: “I’m afraid your viewers have just been lied to.

“It’s absolutely clear that groups who make up the Taliban… have been rounding up people in Lashkar Gah and Kandahar and hunting them down in Kabul and killing them.”

“Universities are being closed… women are being denied access to education, girls are being denied access to education, and civil servants, female civil servants, are being sent home.”

“What we are seeing is a slick PR operation masking a vicious death cult,” the Tory MP and former Army Lieutenant Colonel who served in Afghanistan declared.

Prince Harry Blames Vax Hesitancy on ‘Those Who Peddle in Lies and Fear’ in New Media, Social Media

Meghan Markle’s husband Harry, Duke of Sussex, has blamed vaccine hesitancy on “families around the world… being overwhelmed by mass-scale misinformation across news media and social media”.

In a surprise appearance at the GQ Men of the Year Awards — made via video rather than following one of the private jet trips the supposedly climate-conscious prince is fond of — the working royal turned woke celebrity complained that “Less than two per cent of people in the developing world have received a single dose” of coronavirus vaccine, while “At the same time, families around the world are being overwhelmed by mass-scale misinformation across news media and social media, where those who peddle in lies and fear are creating vaccine hesitancy, which in turn leads to divided communities and eroding trust.”

Harry added that “This is a system we need to break if we are to overcome Covid-19 and the risk of new variants.”

He also warned that “until every community can access the vaccine and until every community is connected to trustworthy information about the vaccine, then we are all at risk”.

How the prince might clamp down on “mass-scale misinformation” around vaccination in his idea of a perfect world was not made entirely clear, but he is not known as a champion of press freedom or freedom of speech more generally.

In an appearance on the aptly titled Armchair Experts podcast in the United States, for example, he complained to host Dax Shepard about the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which protects freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and similar rights.

“I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment. I still don’t understand it, but it is bonkers,” he said — earning him the sobriquet ‘the Prince of Cancel Culture’ from Brexit champion Nigel Farage.

Roseburg doctor advocates Ivermectin use in COVID patients despite CDC warning

ROSEBURG, Ore. - A Roseburg doctor recently published a blog post where he advocates the use of Ivermectin when treating COVID-19 patients, despite the CDC recently warning against using it.

Dr. Tim Powell, medical director of Evergreen Family Medicine, expressed his thoughts in a post on the medical office website.

"Early outpatient treatment works. At Evergreen Family Medicine, we are aggressive in those stratified to be at risk in this early phase. We believe Regeneron, Ivermectin, anticoagulation, and judicious use of steroids and active monitoring is keeping patients out of the hospital,” the post reads.

Regeneron is a monoclonal antibody treatment that has been given emergency use authorization from the FDA.

Other hospitals like PeaceHealth RiverBend are offering a monoclonal antibody IV therapy, or REGEN-COV, as a treatment, but not Ivermectin.

KEZI 9 News reached out to Powell's office but has yet to hear back.

CDC WARNS AGAINST INVERMECTIN

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have sent a health advisory to doctors and the public about the "rapid increase" in prescriptions for the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin, CNN reports.

The CDC also cautions about an increase in reports of severe illness caused by the drug to poison centers.

Ivermectin is used to treat parasites such as worms and lice in humans and it is also used by veterinarians to de-worm large animals.

For months, conservative media including Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham have talked about how it could be used to treat Covid-19. It's a popular topic on Twitter. Ivermectin has been called a "miracle drug" in congressional hearings. Even Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson has been touting its benefit to treat Covid-19 cure.

Normally, about 3,600 prescriptions are written for ivermectin in a week, the CDC said. This rose more than tenfold by the week of January 8, when 39,000 prescriptions were written. "Since early July 2021, outpatient ivermectin dispensing has again begun to rapidly increase, reaching more than 88,000 prescriptions in the week ending August 13, 2021. This represents a 24-fold increase from the pre-pandemic baseline," the CDC said.

GoodRx a company that tracks drug prices has seen a similar sharp increase in prescriptions filled for ivemectin. From the company's data for August, so far they've seen 20 times the average level of fills in 2019.

The US Food and Drug Administration has cautioned people against using ivermectin to treat Covid-19. Last Saturday the FDA tweeted: "You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y'all. Stop it."

Calls to poison control centers have increased three-fold, compared to the number of calls about the drug before the pandemic, the CDC said.

Some examples of these calls included an adult who wanted to prevent Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized for nine days after drinking a cattle formula. Another person who bought pills online to treat their Covid-19 infection was hospitalized after taking five tablets a day for five days.

The CDC reminded doctors that ivermectin is not authorized or approved for use in Covid-19 patients. Doctors did investigate the possibility, but clinical trials of the drug "yielded insufficient evidence" to treat Covid-19. Scientists would need to perform more clinical trials to see if it actually worked to treat the disease. Overdoses of the drug can cause stomach problems, nerve damage, seizures, disorientation, coma and death.

The CDC advisory reminded the public that vaccination rather than treatment "is the safest and most effective way to prevent getting sick and protect against severe disease and death" from Covid-19.

USA gymnastics offers $425million settlement to 500 of pedophile doctor Larry Nassar's victims - but doesn't have enough money in the bank to pay

USA Gymnastics has offered to pay victims of pedophile doctor Larry Nassar a $425million joint settlement, but it's unclear where the organization will find the cash with some of its insurers failing to sign on the proposed settlement.

Nassar is in prison for the sexual assault of hundreds of gymnastics, including Olympic champions Simone Biles, Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney.

USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University have both been admonished by his victims for failing to act when he was first reported for abuse, and in some cases covering up his abhorrent acts.

A lawsuit leveled by a class of 500 of his victims has been resolved with a proposed settlement of $425million - $1.1million per victim not including any legal fees incurred.

The proposed agreement would prevent the victims from seeking any further legal action against USOPC, USA Gymnastics and Bela and Martha Karolyi, who ran the Karolyi ranch, a training ground in Texas where much of the abuse took place.

But it's unclear how the organization is going to find the cash to pay the sum when insurers have not yet agreed to pay it.

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee is appealing to insurers now to agree to pay it.

'Under the new plan, the USOPC will contribute substantially to the compensation of the survivors.

'There are, unfortunately, some insurance carriers that continue to withhold support for this plan, and we urge these carriers – in the strongest terms – to join the rest of the parties in supporting the plan’s fair resolution for the victims and survivors of abuse,' the Committee told USA Today, which first reported on the settlement on Tuesday night.

USA Gymnastics said in a statement that it believes the settlement will be finalized later this year.

'After extensive discussions, this plan has been jointly proposed by USA Gymnastics and the Committee, and it is supported by many of the involved insurers.

'We anticipate that this plan will be confirmed later this year and greatly appreciate all parties’ efforts to get to this point.'

The proposed settlement came on the same day Maroney's interview about Nassar, where she said she thought he was going to kill her in one of their sessions, was published by ELLE.

Lots to discuss! Hillary and Huma prove they're still joined at the hip during Hamptons coffee date - days before premiere of FX series about Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky and ahead of Abedin's tell-all memoir about Anthony Weiner

Hillary Clinton and her former aide Huma Abedin are proving that no number of scandals, failed presidential campaigns, and tell-all books can come between their longtime friendship as they reunited this weekend in the Hamptons to enjoy a leisurely lunch.

Clinton, 73, and Abedin, 45, looked like the very best of friends as they joined several companions at Carissa's The Bakery in East Hampton, where they were seen laughing and chatting over coffees and pastries while soaking up the sunshine at an outdoor table.

The former Secretary of State and her longtime aide looked as though they had nary a care in the world - despite the fact that their outing comes just days before a new crime drama about Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky is due to be released, and two months before Abedin will publish a 'candid' tell-all book that will detail her marriage to disgraced ex-Rep Anthony Weiner and her work on Clinton's failed 2016 bid for the White House.

In exclusive images obtained by DailyMail.com, Clinton was seen smiling and laughing as she caught up with her longtime aide and close friend, having clearly put all thought about the drama series out of her mind. The FX show, Impeachment: American Crime Story, is set to rehash all of the scandalous - and no doubt painful - details of former President Clinton's affair with Lewinsky, who serves as a producer on the series.

Comfy and casual: Despite the balmy weather, Clinton covered up in a long-sleeved navy sweater, which she wore over a patterned navy-and-white shirt and a pair of long trousers

Starring actress Beanie Feldstein in the role of Lewinsky, the show will track the events that led to Clinton's impeachment on December 19, 1998, including sordid details about his relationship with his White House intern, who was 22 at the time.

But if Clinton has any concerns about the show's September 7 premiere, she certainly didn't reveal them during her outing with Abedin, with whom she has been working since 1996.

Perhaps eager to try and maintain a low profile, both women donned hats and sunglasses, with Clinton opting for a large grey visor, while Abedin wore a more fashion-forward straw hat.

Despite the balmy summer temperatures, Clinton, who had her short hair pulled back in a ponytail, wore a navy sweater over a patterned navy-and-white shirt, pairing the items with a pair of matching long pants and some chunky white-and-blue sneakers.

She also toted a navy handbag with a gold chain strap and wore several beaded blue bracelets on her left wrist.

Abedin on the other hand went for a much more summery ensemble, pairing a pretty red, white, and green frock with a denim chambray shirt that was tied up at the waist. She topped off her ensemble with some simple white flip flops and a nude clutch bag, which she toted under one arm while holding onto her coffee and snacks.

Her long brunette hair was styled in loose waves and left to hang around her shoulders.

Colorado High School Students Perform Mass Walkout In Protest Of Mask Mandates, Chant ‘No More Masks’

Forced masking of children backfires as students take to the streets in protest

Students located in at least two Colorado high schools are currently executing a mass walkout in protest of restrictive and widely criticized mask mandates as of Wednesday afternoon. Students have been seen chanting “No more masks” as mask-supporting school officials complain on social media and in press releases.

Legend High School, located in Douglas County School District RE-1, was the site of the first walkout. Students chanted “USA! USA! USA!” and held signs in support of individual liberty and Constitutional rights. Numerous vehicles that passed by the protest slowed and honked their horns in support.

Facebook helped airlift 175 Afghans who were in 'grave danger' out of Afghanistan on flight to Mexico - including some of its own employees

Facebook helped 175 endangered Afghan citizens flee the now Taliban-controlled country earlier this week.

The evacuees, some of whom were Facebook employees, were transported to Mexico City on Egypt Air's first-ever flight to the country, the social media company confirmed in a statement to Axios on Wednesday.

'In the process of assisting Facebook employees and close partners leave Afghanistan, we joined an effort to help a group of journalists and their families who were in grave danger,' a company spokesperson said.

The tech group is collaborating with a private group working to help at-risk individuals leave Afghanistan following the American withdrawal on Monday, although specific details surrounding the evacuations remain unknown.

The U.S. and its allies evacuated more than 123,000 people out of Afghanistan before the withdrawal, however, President Joe Biden's administration conceded on Wednesday that the majority of America's Afghan allies were left in the country.

Facebook is just one of several corporations and private citizens groups working to evacuate people out of Afghanistan.

Facebook announced Wednesday that an Egypt Air plane carrying 175 Afghan social media workers, activists, journalists and their families, including 75 children, successfully landed at Mexico City International Airport.

The organisation worked with officials at Mexico's embassies in Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt to ensure the evacuation.

'Thanks to the leadership of the Mexican government, and the support of the UAE in providing the initial landing, the journalists have been welcomed in Mexico,' the company added.

At this time it remains unclear when the evacuees arrived in Mexico City and how they received access to the Egypt Air plane.

Facebook declined to name the organisation it is working with or provide further details about the evacuees in effort of security.

The evacuation comes just two weeks after Facebook implemented new security measures for users worried about their safety.

The company's head of security, Nathaniel Gleicher, announced last month in a thread of tweets: 'We've launched a one-click tool for people in Afghanistan to quickly lock down their account. When their profile is locked, people who aren't their friends can't download or share their profile photo or see posts on their timeline.'

The platform is also actively banning Taliban content and posts.

Bankruptcy judge APPROVES Purdue settlement which will see Sackler family pay-out billions to victims of opioid crisis

A federal judge said on Wednesday he would approve OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma's bankruptcy reorganization plan, which will see the company's wealthy Sackler family pay billions to victims but shield them from future opioid litigation.

Bankruptcy Judge Robert Drain said that, with small changes, he would approve the plan - which overcame opposition to garner support from nearly all states, local governments, tribes, hospitals and other creditors that voted on the restructuring.

They became creditors in the bankruptcy by virtue of suing Purdue and Sackler family members over their alleged contributions to the nationwide opioid epidemic.

Drain said it was clear the wrongful marketing of the company's opioid products contributed to the country's addiction crisis, which touched every corner of the country.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has tallied more than 500,000 deaths in the U.S. to opioid overdose, including both prescription drugs and illicit ones such as heroin and illegally produced fentanyl, since 2000.

Purdue filed for bankruptcy in September 2019 amid an onslaught of litigation against the company and its owners. Roughly 3,000 lawsuits nationwide sought to blame Purdue and Sackler family members.

'That makes the bankruptcy case before me highly unusual and complex,' said Drain, who spent more than six hours reading his ruling from the bench.

The plan, which Purdue values at more than $10 billion, dissolves the drugmaker and shifts assets to a new company not controlled by Sackler family members.

The new company will be owned by a trust run to combat the opioid epidemic in U.S. communities that alleged the company and its owners aggressively marketed the painkiller OxyContin while playing down its abuse and overdose risks.

Bill Clinton is seen hanging out with billionaire sugar baron brothers Alfonso and Jose 'Pepe' Fanjul - a one-time friend of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein - after spending the day on 95-ft yacht in Sag Harbor

Bill Clinton was spotted on Tuesday hanging out with two sugar baron billionaire brothers, one of whom was once friends with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The former president, 75, was pictured with influential political donors Alfonso 'Alfy' and Jose 'Pepe' Fanjul disembarking their yacht in the tony town of Sag Harbor, New York.

The brothers, whose Florida sugar and real estate empire is worth $8.2billion, have been close to the Clinton family for decades, with Alfonso co-chairing Clinton's Florida campaign in 1992.

A special prosecutor's report into Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky infamously noted how the president even interrupted his breakup conversation with her to take a 22-minute call from one of the brothers. The affair is the centerpiece of the 10-part FX series Impeachment, which debuts next Tuesday.

Both Clinton and Jose, who goes by the nickname Pepe, appear in late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's 'black book' of celebrity, wealthy and influential contacts.

The younger Fanjul brother was pictured with the billionaire pedophile and his associate Leon Black at a 2005 screening of the movie Capote in New York.

A spokesman for Fanjul's company Florida Crystals told the Palm Beach Daily News in 2019 that Pepe and Epstein 'obviously knew each other and had some contact in the past. But there isn't any ongoing business or social relationship with Mr. Epstein.'

Clinton has also been scrutinized for his relationship with the late pedophile billionaire, after appearing on flight manifests for Epstein's jet, dubbed the 'Lolita Express' over allegations Epstein molested underage girls on the plane.

In photographs exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, Clinton was seen talking with Alfonso and taking a white paper Sag Harbor Books bag from ayacht crew member, while Pepe, 77, stood nearby.

Alfonso's boat, Crili, is 95 feet long and named after his daughters Crista and Lillian. The brothers also own a Gulfstream G-IV private jet.

Biden and Bennett Renew Agreement on Israel’s Secret Nuclear Weapons Program

Since Nixon, US presidents have agreed not to push Israel to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty

President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett renewed a decades-old agreement on Israel’s secret nuclear weapons program during their meeting in Washington last week, Axios reported on Wednesday.

It is believed that Israel first produced nuclear weapons in the late 1960s, and current estimates put Israel’s arsenal somewhere between 90 and 300 warheads. Every US president since Nixon has agreed not to press Israel to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty. In return, Israel agrees not to declare its nuclear arsenal and operates the program covertly.

The ambiguity allows the US to give Israel aid, which is technically illegal due to the existence of Israel’s nuclear arsenal. Under foreign assistance laws, the US cannot provide aid to nuclear-armed states that refuse to sign the NPT.

The irony of the arrangement is that Israel constantly accuses Iran of operating a secret nuclear weapons program. And one of the main Israeli talking points is that if Iran ever acquires a nuclear bomb, it would trigger a regional arms race.

Israel is not just waging a propaganda war against Iran. The accusations come along with covert attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities and brazen assassinations of nuclear scientists.

The US entertains the Israeli narrative, and pressure from Israel is what led to the Trump administration withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA. Iran remains under heavy US sanctions, and this economic warfare is justified by the idea that Tehran is racing to develop a bomb when that is not the case.

The JCPOA puts strict limits on Iran’s nuclear program. But instead of favoring a US return to the deal, Israel is doing everything to sabotage negotiations. One reason the Israelis say they are against the JCPOA is that it has an expiration date. But that ignores the fact that after the JCPOA, Iran would still be bound by the NPT.

House to vote on bill guaranteeing abortion access in response to Texas law

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that the House will vote on legislation to guarantee access to abortion upon its return to Washington later this month after the Supreme Court refused to block a restrictive Texas law that bans most abortions.

Late Wednesday night, the court issued a 5-4 ruling denying an emergency request from abortion providers to block the Texas law, with Chief Justice John Roberts joining the three liberal justices in dissent.

Pelosi said that after the House returns to session on Sept. 20, the chamber will vote on a bill from Rep. Judy Chu (D-Calif.) to statutorily protect a person's ability to seek an abortion and for health care providers to provide abortion services. She called the Texas law "a flagrantly unconstitutional assault on women’s rights and health" and a "catastrophe."

"This ban necessitates codifying Roe v. Wade," Pelosi said, referring to the landmark 1973 Supreme Court ruling that prohibits states from banning abortion before a fetus reaches the point of viability, which typically is around 24 weeks of pregnancy.

“Upon our return, the House will bring up Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Women’s Health Protection Act to enshrine into law reproductive health care for all women across America," Pelosi said.

But given that Senate Republicans would likely filibuster any House-passed bill to guarantee abortion access, the legislation faces steep hurdles to becoming law despite narrow Democratic majorities in both chambers and a like-minded president.

Across the Capitol, the Senate companion bill to Chu's legislation has the support of 48 Democrats. Two Democrats, Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Bob Casey (Pa.) have not signed on as co-sponsors.

Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) called for abolishing the filibuster so that legislation to enshrine Roe v. Wade can pass in the Senate with a simple majority and for expanding the Supreme Court.

"We have seen what the Republicans will do in ultra-conservative state legislatures across the country to quash the constitutional rights of Americans, and this ruling needs to be an urgent call to action for my Senate Democratic colleagues," Markey said.

The Texas law, which took effect Wednesday, prohibits abortions after the presence of a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can happen as early as six weeks of pregnancy. But abortion groups estimate that about 85 to 90 percent of women who seek an abortion in Texas are at least six weeks pregnant.

Israel inaugurates Chinese-run Haifa port terminal, in likely boost for economy

$1.7b terminal operated by state-owned Shanghai firm to handle large vessels of some 18,000 containers; Transportation Minister Michaeli says it will accelerate trade, lower prices

Israel on Wednesday officially inaugurated a new port terminal in Haifa Bay, the first of two recently built private port terminals that are expected to fuel competition, decrease import costs, and present a boon for the Israeli economy. Almost all of Israel’s international trade is handled via maritime routes and the Haifa port is the busiest shipping hub in the country, managing approximately half of all freight.

China’s state-owned Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) won the tender in 2015 to operate the commercial shipping facility for 25 years, an arrangement that stoked controversy in Israel and abroad. The project’s proximity to Israel’s submarines, among other issues, raised security concerns, especially after reports revealed that neither the cabinet nor the National Security Council had any input on the deal. The project also raised the ire of the US, which sometimes docks military vessels in Haifa.

The new Haifa terminal, built by two Israeli companies, will allow large shipping vessels of about 400 meters long carrying some 18,000 containers each to dock in Israel, the Transportation Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday, and will provide unloading and loading services, shortening their times.

Israel has been able to handle smaller vessels carrying several thousand containers, and has been experiencing severe traffic jams at seaports, driving up prices for goods — everything from household products, raw materials, and automotive parts.

The delays cost the Israeli economy approximately NIS 700 million ($218 million) every month, according to a Channel 13 report two weeks ago.

Evidence mounts that Biden manufactured weeks-long false narrative on Afghanistan

Canceled congressional report, request to Afghan president to peddle story "whether it is true or not" raise alarm, and talk of impeachment.

The long saga of the Russia collusion scandal — during which law enforcement, media, political operatives and intelligence assets manufactured a two-year illusion of a Trump-Russia conspiracy that did not exist — raised questions about a new era of political warfare in which false realities could be foisted upon the American public.

The bungled, bloody U.S. exit from Afghanistan now has some fearing the Biden administration practiced deception by omission and commission to create a two-month false narrative that misled Congress and the American public by making the situation in and around Kabul look better than it was.

Two powerful pieces of evidence emerged this week that strongly suggest the Afghan exit wasn't just a case of incompetence but rather an intentional effort to use PR lipstick to disguise a Biden plan that was secretly willing to accept chaos and stranded Americans as a possible outcome to avoid further military casualties during the exit.

On Wednesday, Reuters published a leaked transcript of a call that quoted Biden asking the soon-to-flee Afghan president Ashraf Ghani to offer a narrative to change the "perception" of the Taliban's rapid advance in Afghanistan, "whether it is true or not."

"I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban," Biden is quoted as telling the Afghan president. "And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture."

The White House did not dispute the account of the July 23 call, even though it suggested that an American president asked a foreign leader to assist in creating a potentially fake story.

Earlier this week, Biden administration officials also conceded the president granted himself a waiver to avoid providing Congress this summer a legally required report on the dangers of withdrawing from Afghanistan, leaving lawmakers mostly in the dark about a situation in which U.S. confidence in the Afghan government and military rapidly deteriorated.

One act of commission, another of omission that clearly created false expectations and impressions and empowered the president's top aides — from Jen Psaki at the White House to John Kirby at the Pentagon — to make pronouncements like:

Every American who wants to come home will be able to do so before Aug. 31.

Every Afghan loyalist in danger could be evacuated.

The Afghan army could hold Kabul for months after the U.S. departed.

U.S. Could Sanction Saudi Arabia Over Defense Deal With Russia

The United States is urging its allies to avoid major defense deals with Russia, a State Department spokesman said, commenting on the signing of a military cooperation agreement between Russia and Saudi Arabia.

“We continue to urge all our partners and allies to avoid major new deals with the Russian defense sector, which we have made clear with … the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA),” the spokesman told Russian state outlet RIA.

Still, in late August Russia and Saudi Arabia’s deputy defense ministers signed a new military cooperation agreement.

it served as not just a sign of growth between the two governments, but also as a clear signal from Riyadh: it is willing to diversify its defense relationships beyond its longtime focus on the United States.

“I signed an agreement with the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Colonel General Alexander Fomin between the Kingdom and the Russian Federation aimed at developing joint military cooperation between the two countries,” Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman tweeted, on the sidelines of the International Military Technical Forum (ARMY 2021) near Moscow.

“Met with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu,” he added, “to explore ways to strengthen the military and defense cooperation and discussed our common endeavor to preserve stability and security in the region.”

The agreement comes on the heels of the withdrawal of US troops from the region and the pull-out of eight Patriot anti-missile systems from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iraq, as well as a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system from the Kingdom.

By choosing to cooperate with Russia, the message to Washington is clear:

“Moscow is now more involved in regional affairs, while the US shows less interest in the Middle East,” Fadi Assaf, co-founder of Beirut-based consultancy Middle East Strategic Perspectives (MESP) said. “Accessing the Saudi defense market would mean a significant political and economic success for the Russians, who are prospecting for other Gulf markets including the UAE and Qatar, while trying to expand their presence in the Iraqi and Turkish markets.”

This isn’t the first arms agreement between the two countries.

In 2017, Russia agreed to sell $3 billion worth of arms to Saudi Arabia, including the rights for local manufacturing of Kornet-EM anti-tank missiles, TOS-1A multi rocket launchers, AGS-30 automatic grenade launchers and Kalashnikov rifles and ammunitions; however, those deals largely stalled out, and the level of equipment now being discussed is of higher capability — and higher geopolitical impact.

The Saudi Crown Prince “sees personal benefits from a rapprochement between the Kingdom and Putin’s Russia, on many levels: mainly as a future King and head of State, Minister of Defense, and above all as the architect of Vision 2030,” Assaf said.

“As for the Russians, they are particularly opportunistic when it comes to the Middle East and the Gulf, and they would not miss any political or business opportunities coming from a huge market such as Saudi Arabia.”

With the United States abandonment of its Afghan allies, and the complete failure of the 20-year war in the Central Asian country, this could prove a tendency from typical US allies to move slightly away from Washington and towards Russia and China to procure their weaponry.

DHS: White Americans Support The Taliban And Are Poised to Carry Out Terror Attacks At Any Moment

Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas together with his underling John Cohen and the propagandists at the Anti-Defamation League went to CNN on Wednesday to drop a new blood libel smearing White Americans as "domestic violent extremists" in line with the Taliban who are poised to start committing terrorist attacks at any moment.

All the same tactics our globalist overlords used to smear all Muslims as terrorists in order to launch the War on Terror in the Middle East are now being used against the American people to launch a new domestic War on Terror here at home.

Despite hyping the phony threat of "white extremists" every day without pause, the ADL's own inflated numbers showed 2020 had the lowest number of "domestic extremist-related killings" in over a decade.

There's so little "domestic terrorism" from "white extremists" that the FBI has had to manufacture fake terror plots and fund Satanic "neo-nazi terrorist" death cults in a desperate bid to create the false perception it's America's "greatest threat."

It probably won't be long before they deem it necessary to stage another 9/11 to justify stripping us of all our rights once and for all while they loot the nation and bleed us dry.

They're clearly laying the groundwork as we speak.

From CNN, "White supremacist praise of the Taliban takeover concerns US officials":

As the United States-backed government in Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and US troops raced to leave the country, White supremacist and anti-government extremists have expressed admiration for what the Taliban accomplished, a worrying development for US officials who have been grappling with the threat of domestic violent extremism.

That praise has also been coupled with a wave of anti-refugee sentiment from far-right groups, as the US and others rushed to evacuate tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan by the Biden administration's August 31 deadline.

Timeline: Why Biden's Call With Ghani Matters

Joe Biden came into office inheriting the war in Afghanistan. But unlike previous presidents, he inherited a war that was relatively quiescent by Afghanistan standards, involved few American troops on the ground, and was in a phaseout due to an agreement his predecessor had struck with the Afghan government and the Taliban. Under that deal, the U.S. would remove its troops by May 1, 2021, if the Taliban and Afghan government met certain conditions.

Biden has played both sides of the Trump deal, both arguing that it tied his hands and that he would have sought a similar deal himself. This, plus Biden’s campaign to overturn as many Trump policies as possible after he took office, tosses out any Biden argument that attempts to blame Trump, however flawed Trump’s deal with the Taliban might have been. Biden’s hands were not tied, and he might have done the exact same thing Trump did — according to Joe Biden. Biden has also offered a false choice to do exactly what he did or dramatically escalate the war. This leaves out many alternatives including not unilaterally leaving Afghanistan during its well-established summer fighting season.

There were about 3,500 American troops in Afghanistan when Biden took office, according to the New York Times, concentrated at the massive Bagram Air Base, mostly providing intelligence and air support for the Afghan military. Maintenance contractors kept the Afghan military’s trainers/combat aircraft, Embraer’s U.S.-made A-29 Super Tucanos, flying. Combat aircraft require extensive ongoing maintenance just to be able to fly. The U.S. had used the A-29 to train Afghan pilots to conduct reconnaissance and close air support. They provided a key advantage for the Afghan military over the flightless Taliban.

According to Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Biden discussed whether to keep to Trump’s plan or come up with his own before he announced, in April 2021, that he was adjusting the May 1 date back — to Saturday, September 11. That’s no random date, of course, it’s the 20th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, which originated on Afghan soil and precipitated the war there that lasted 20 years. This was a communications/optics strategy, not a military, strategy. Biden wanted the photo-op of ending the war on the 20th anniversary of the attacks that launched it. Biden overruled the advice of his military leaders, according to Wallace, demanding a full withdrawal by that date. The military, according to Wallace, wanted to maintain a small presence at Bagram to provide intelligence and some key air support to the Afghan military against the Taliban.

Biden announces withdrawal with that date certain on April 13, 2021.

The Taliban advances, capturing villages and territory.

On June 16, an elite group of Afghan commandos led by a legendary warrior was captured. They had called for air support from the U.S. military, but those strikes never came. Brad Taylor, an Afghanistan veteran and retired Army Lt. Col. writes that the capture and execution of those commandos and their leader, Sohrab Azimi, shocked the Afghan military. He was a superhero in their eyes, writes Taylor. When even he didn’t get the air support he needed, the message was sent to the Afghan military that neither would anyone else. The Afghan military depended on U.S. intelligence and airstrikes in its ground war with the Taliban.

Only July 5, 2021, the U.S. military abandons Bagram in the dead of night without warning the Afghan military or any of our NATO allies. The base was operational on July 4, then dark on July 5. AP reported the Afghan military’s surprise at the time. July 5 was a Monday; the Biden administration didn’t announce the exit from Bagram until the following Friday (July 9) but by then the Afghan commander had discovered that the U.S. was gone and shown media around the base. The departure in the night without a handoff to the Afghan command violated U.S. protocols. Typically, U.S. units will hold and operate while an incoming unit or command gets stood up and only hand off command once the incoming unit is ready to lead. This was not done at Bagram.

The U.S. conducts a formal closure ceremony on July 12 and the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, Gen. Austin “Scott” Miller, departs and is not replaced. Command of Afghanistan reverts to CENTCOM with Gen. Frank McKenzie, based in Tampa, Florida.

The Taliban continues to gain ground.

Chinese Envoy Accuses US of ‘Suppressing’ China as Beijing Piles Pressure on Washington to Play by CCP’s Rules

China’s new U.S. envoy accused Washington of continuing an “extreme China policy” and warned the United States not to cross the regime’s “red lines.”

Qin Gang, who arrived in Washington in late July to take up the post, made his remarks at a welcome event hosted by the National Committee on United States–China Relations, a New York-based organization that promotes a friendlier relationship with Beijing.

His comments came as the Biden administration works to build a global alliance to counter threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), yet seeks cooperation with Beijing on issues like climate change. In a phone call earlier this week, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken that any cooperation with the regime on areas such as Afghanistan and climate change would be dependent on Washington’s “attitude toward China.”

Speaking at the virtual event, Qin blamed the current tensions between the world’s largest economic powers squarely on the U.S. side, repeating CCP rhetoric that Washington is “suppressing” China.

Qin’s speech, a mix of cautions and appeals, put an emphasis on cooperation—one in which the U.S. side would “avoid touching or challenging China’s red line.”

The CCP considers its abuses in Hong Kong, Xinjiang, Tibet, and military designs on Taiwan as “red line” issues, not to be scrutinized by the international community.

In response to intensifying condemnation by Western nations over its rights abuses, economic coercion, and military aggressions, Chinese officials have taken to an aggressive approach known as “wolf warrior” diplomacy.

Chief Justice Roberts, 3 other dissenters slam colleagues for hastily rewarding Texas 'bounty hunter' abortion ban scheme

A sharply divided Supreme Court early Thursday said it will not block a new Texas law that deputizes any Texan to enforce a six-week ban on abortions. Five justices — Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett — explained in a brief, unsigned majority opinion that the abortion advocates asking for an emergency stay "raised serious questions regarding the constitutionality of the Texas law at issue," but they were unable to untangle the "complex and novel antecedent procedural questions" raised by the law.

The four dissenters — Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan — argued in separate rebuttals that their five colleagues, without any real debate, were rewarding Texas lawmakers for inventing a novel scheme to stomp on decades of Supreme Court precedent.

"The statutory scheme before the Court is not only unusual, but unprecedented," Roberts wrote, and he would have granted "preliminary relief" at least until "the courts may consider whether a state can avoid responsibility for its laws in such a manner." Instead, the court allowed the law to take effect before lower courts weighed in, "without ordinary merits briefing, and without oral argument."

Sotomayor was more direct, calling the court's decision "stunning" and saying the five-justice majority "opted to bury their heads in the sand" while Texas "flouts nearly 50 years of federal precedents" by "outsourcing the enforcement of unconstitutional laws to its citizenry." Essentially, "the Texas Legislature has deputized the state's citizens as bounty hunters, offering them cash prizes for civilly prosecuting their neighbors' medical procedures," she wrote, and the court is rewarding this "breathtaking act of defiance — of the Constitution, of this court's precedents, and of the rights of women seeking abortions throughout Texas."

Breyer wrote that he doesn't see how Texas' enforcement-delegation scheme "should make a critical difference," since it still "threatens to invade a constitutional right."

Kagan said the court should not have greenlighted a "patently unconstitutional law" with barely any discussion and "less than 72 hours' thought." The five justices gave only "cursory" review to the submitted documents, and "barely bothers to explain its conclusion — that a challenge to an obviously unconstitutional abortion regulation backed by a wholly unprecedented enforcement scheme is unlikely to prevail," she added. "In all these ways, the majority's decision is emblematic of too much of this court's shadow-docket decisionmaking — which every day becomes more unreasoned, inconsistent, and impossible to defend." You can read all the opinions.

China will be our main partner, say Taliban

Beijing ready to invest in Afghanistan, help rebuild country, says Taliban spokesman

ROME (AA) – China will be the Taliban’s “main partner” and help rebuild Afghanistan, according to a spokesman for the group.

“China will be our main partner and represents a great opportunity for us because it is ready to invest in our country and support reconstruction efforts,” Zabihullah Mujahid said in an interview published by Italian newspaper La Repubblica on Wednesday.

He said the Taliban value China’s Belt and Road Initiative as the project will revive the ancient Silk Road.

He said China will also help Afghanistan fully utilize its rich copper resources and give the country a path into global markets.

The Taliban also view Russia as an important partner in the region and will maintain good relations with Moscow, he added.

Speaking about the Kabul airport, Mujahid said the facility is fully under Taliban control but has been seriously damaged.

Qatar and Turkey are leading efforts to resume operations at the airport, he told the Italian publication.

“The airport should be clean within the next three days and will be rebuilt in a short time. I hope it will be operational again in September,” he said.

On relations with Italy, Mujahid said the Taliban hope Italy will recognize their government and reopen its embassy in Kabul.

The Taliban took control of Afghanistan on Aug. 15, forcing President Ashraf Ghani and other top officials to flee the country.

The group has been working to form a government and an announcement is expected on Friday.

Capital One CEO to Pay Civil Penalty for Violating Antitrust Pre-Transaction Notification Requirements

The Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, at the request of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), filed a civil antitrust lawsuit today in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, against Richard D. Fairbank, the CEO of Capital One Financial Corporation, for violating the pre-transaction notification and waiting period requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act of 1976 (HSR Act) when he acquired voting securities of Capital One in 2018. At the same time, the department filed a proposed settlement, subject to approval by the court, under which Fairbank has agreed to pay a $637,950 civil penalty to resolve the lawsuit.

The HSR Act imposes notification and waiting period requirements for transactions meeting certain size thresholds so that they can undergo pre-transaction antitrust review. Federal courts can assess civil penalties for pre-transaction notification violations under the HSR Act in lawsuits brought by the department. The maximum civil penalty for an HSR Act violation, which is adjusted annually, is currently $43,792 per day.

Further details about this matter are described in the FTC’s press release issued today, and in the attached complaint and competitive impact statement.

Consistent with the requirements of the Tunney Act, the proposed settlement, along with the competitive impact statement, will be published in the Federal Register. Any person may submit written comments concerning the proposed settlement during a 60-day comment period via email to bccompliance@ftc.gov or by post to Maribeth Petrizzi, Special Attorney, United States, c/o Federal Trade Commission, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, CC-8416, Washington, D.C. 20580. At the conclusion of the 60-day comment period, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia may approve the proposed settlement upon finding that it is in the public interest.

South Africa Arrests 7 Suspects of Whistleblower Murder

South African police arrested seven suspects in connection with the murder of a woman who blew the whistle on fraudulent contracts made during the pandemic, the provincincial government of Gauteng announced.

Babita Deokoran, the former Chief financial officer of the Gauteng Health department was gunned down early last week in front of her home after dropping her daughter off at school.

Deokoran was reportedly a key witness in an investigation into fraudulent contracts related to COVID-19 made by the Gauteng Department of Health.

According to the Daily Maverick, Deokaran’s killers shot at her from a white SUV which neighbors had seen driving around and photographing Deokoran’s house earlier in the week.

That info was enough for South African authorities to track down her suspected killers and bring them into custody in only four days.

”I believe that police will uncover the masterminds behind this horrific crime,” said Gauteng Premier David Makhura, calling Deokoran “an upright public servant.”

"The corrupt elements in government who collude with rogue business to rig tenders have nowhere to hide. Looters shall not win. We will not retreat," he said.

The Kathrada foundation, a South African civil rights group, praised the speedy arrests, but also called for equally strong measures to be taken in other cases.

“We must however ask, about all the other cases of slain whistleblowers. Many of these have not received sufficient public attention. How many cases have simply ‘faded away’ with families left without any justice?” Neeshan Balton, the Foundation’s executive director said in a statement.

“We need to immediately secure support and protection for corruption fighters,” Balton added.

“The arrests in the Deokaran case, as important as it may be, will not bring back the mother, daughter, colleague and honest public servant that she was.”
