Hey there, fellow PF, check out that video footage on the jet plane crash that killed 4, posted in this and last bread. I don't have the post# handy, at 35 secs into the news clip, they show the tail of the bird.
It's riddled with tiny holes. Like shrapnel from a small missile. Sorry, work faggin, but there's a notable on it in this bread.

Sure, I get it, but wouldn't the holes be a mix between round and elongated?? especially since at random force? makes sense though. What if missile caused the massive engine failure and contributed to the holes?

I don't know, there are literally hundreds of small punctures. And the point of entry looks broadside to the plane. Not at an angle from the combustion turbine fan blades. there would be more curled aluminum. And mangled sheeting.
