Islamic State 'Beatle' to plead guilty to U.S. terrorism charges

WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - A British-born man who was a member of a team of Islamic State militants in Syria nicknamed "The Beatles" accused of beheading American hostages was due to plead guilty on Thursday to U.S. criminal charges, according to a federal court record.

A docket entry for the U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Virginia, showed a change of plea hearing was scheduled on Thursday for Alexanda Kotey, one of two Islamic State members who had been held in Iraq by the U.S. military before being flown to the United States to face trial on terrorism charges.

Court records show Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh, a Sudanese-born British resident extradited to the United States with Kotey, face charges that include hostage-taking resulting in death and conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists.

Kotey and Elsheikh were citizens of the United Kingdom, but the British government withdrew their citizenship. They are alleged to have belonged to a four-member Islamic State cell nicknamed "The Beatles" because of their British accents.

They are accused of detaining or killing multiple Western hostages, including U.S. journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and aid workers Kayla Mueller and Peter Kassig. The cell allegedly took part in graphic Islamic State videos posted online showing beheadings of foreign hostages.

A 24-page indictment includes a lengthy list of tortures that it accuses Kotey and Elsheikh of inflicting on hostages, including electric shocks with a taser, forcing hostages to fight each other and 20-minute beatings with sticks and waterboarding.

If convicted, Kotey and Elsheikh could face up to life in prison. The United States advised British authorities that American prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Kotey or Elsheikh. The court docket shows charges against Elsheikh still pending.

Britain's Raab, in Qatar, cites need to engage with Taliban

British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said on Thursday there is a need to engage with the Taliban on Afghanistan, but Britain has no immediate plans to recognise their government.

Raab was speaking during a joint press conference with Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in Doha, where he visited housing for refugees evacuated from Afghanistan after the Taliban swept to power last month.

Benjamin Dagley, charged with assaulting MSNBC reporter, arrested by U.S. Marshals

GULFPORT, Miss. (WLBT) - A man who made national news after confronting an MSNBC reporter in Mississippi earlier this week has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals.

Benjamin Dagley was a wanted fugitive after the incident and was charged with two counts of simple assault by the Gulfport Police Department.

He is also currently on probation for a previous charge in Ohio.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Dagley was arrested Thursday by the violent fugitive task force at a shopping plaza in Dayton, Ohio.

Dagley was still driving the white Ford F150 he was seen leaving before allegedly assaulting the MSNBC reporter on live television.

Task force members found the truck in the parking lot and arrested Dagley after seeing him leave a store at the plaza.

“This violent fugitive was attempting to flee from his charges in Gulfport but the swift work of our task force members resulted in a timely arrest,” read a press release by the U.S. Marshals Service.

It has also been revealed that in 2017, Dagley nearly caused an “environmental disaster” in Ohio after drilling holes into tanks of dangerous chemicals, including hydrochloric acid.

This resulted in one person, a security guard, being sent to the hospital.

Superantigens (SAgs) are a class of antigens that result in excessive activation of the immune system. These stories were a marketing pitch by Google and Musk venture

capitalists to “sell” Congress on underwriting a deeper invasion of Afghanistan in order

to seize control of mining fields (Think: “Frank Guistra”) that those Silicon Valley

VC’s had already monopolized the profiteering routes for. Essentially, the green

crunchy-granola VC’s sold the “green-washing” of a war in which people were killed

and another nation was razed so that they could monopolize some batteries. Google went

to great lengths to make certain that news coverage of this fact never saw the light of

day on the internet.

They did this news and investigation cover-up by rigging the internet. Google made

settings, by hand, on purpose, to hide things it did not want people to see and to puff up

the marketing hype of Elon Musk and the Google/Musk battery deal.

While Obama campaign financiers from Silicon Valley executed on the scheme, A GOP governor

helped get it rolling. Steven Chu, who was planted in the U.S. Department of energy by these Silicon

Valley VC’s, gave vast amounts of U.S. taxpayer emergency financing money from the ATVM and

LGP programs to billionaire Russian oligarchs at Severstal, Ener1 and other front organizations. Why
