>Day after Apple's surprise quarterly earnings beat and was revealed that Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway bought 75M shares in last quarter.

>$13 billion in revenue from Greater China during its second fiscal quarter — a 21% YoY spike.

>iPhone X, "was the most popular smartphone in all of China last quarter." but overall smartphones sales were down.

Now how could Apple have a 21% YoY spike last year when China's economy has been cooling off from prior years when it's the most expensive brand phone in China?

Apple has many competitors in China, including a 'new kid on block' called Xiaomi, which is basically an IPhone knockoff at a cheaper price point. It's been kicking IPhone's ass. All the rage with the urban middle class kids over Apple.

Yet mysteriously with all this competition and having the highest price point in all of China, IPhone X became the "most popular smartphone" in China last quarter?
