just spitballing wi/ a counterpoint to the FF narrative…legal case will either be fought for a win or for settlement. typical strategy is to discredit and drive the settlement as low as possible. Maybe they're trying to discredit the "value" of the childrens' lives using actuarial methods to minimize their payout during settlement. They'll use the records to discredit the children and the parents.
