Forbes Media is selling a majority stake to a group of Asian investors known asIntegrated Whale Media. The Forbes family, including Chairman and Editor-in-chief Steve Forbes, will continue to hold a minority stake in the 97-year-old publishing company.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed, but a source estimated the cash price at $215 million, primarily to buy out the sizable minority stake held by Elevation Partners.
The new ownership team is led by Hong Kong-basedIntegrated Asset Managementfounded by Tak Cheung Yam. Another investor with a significant stake is Singapore businessmanWayne Hsieh, the co-founder of Asustek Computer.

Doctors, nurses, scientists and other healthcare professionals have been on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic since day one. But today they are fighting against more than a deadly virus. After attacks by President Donald Trump, many career medical professionals are speaking out to defend the honor and integrity of their profession.
Trump made a baseless accusation that medical doctors are inflating Covid-19 deaths for financial gainAs evidenced in the video below, President Trump denigrates the integrity and honor of those in the medical profession and implies that doctors often lie about the true cause of deaths in order to game the system for monetary gain. Trump is accusing doctors and, by extension, the entire medical profession of fraud.
He accuses healthcare professionals of lacking integrity and engaging in unethical—possibly even criminal—behavior, and many career healthcare and medical professionals are pushing back hard.
