>The point is to learn to question EVERYTHING because those you trust the most… right?
THIS!
At this point in our "evolution":
Believe nothing that you see on TV.
Believe nothing that you hear on the Radio.
Believe nothing that you read in the Newspapers.
Believe nothing that you read in Magazines.
Believe nothing that you read on the Internet.
Believe nothing that you see on the internet.
Believe nothing that you hear in casual conversations.
Believe (maybe) 1/10th of what you hear from trusted friends and colleagues.
Believe half of what you see with your own eyes.
Believe in your own experience and judgement despite everything and everyone.
Until proven with experience:
Never trust a politician.
Never trust a banker.
Never trust a lawyer.
Never trust a doctor.
Never trust a bureaucrat.
Never trust a cop.
Never trust a judge.
Never trust a realtor.
Never trust an investment advisor.
Never trust a babysitter.
Never trust a contractor.
Never trust a mechanic.
Never trust a plumber.
Never trust your own children under the age of 50. Maybe.
You must:
Trust your own heart.
Trust your intuition.
Trust your gut.
Trust your experience, good and bad.
Trust nature, hard and cruel as it is.
Trust the Constitution.
Trust God!
