The entire 'Holy Bible' is a Constantinian construct to create a universal State religion loyal to the Roman crown. It is a blend of historical Jewish texts, pagan traditions, and pacifistic writings intended to quell uprisings against the Empire. It has been regularly altered to justify endless permutations of centrally planned government.

All mean the same thing, effectively

The God of fire is jealous, as it consumes fuel and must be attended to/worshipped
Water puts out fire
Sunrise and sunset are Times
Bells are rung to denote the time, or position of the Sun
The earth began in fire and will end in fire, the Alpha and the Omega
