I propose that we call the new breed of mojibake, which are the tofu, question marks, or symbols like "EA00" that people see when they try to use pseudo-characters like outside of their sanctioned apps, "emojibake".

Emojibake (絵文字化け) are caused by SV companies trying to end-route the Unicode process, and add unsanctioned characters like —U+EA00—TWITTER LOGO.

Maybe, but the Japanese root 化け doesn't have such specific meaning. Users apply "mojibake" to any kind of tofu. I like my word. Yours aren't as memorable.
