Anon on last bread posted the “story” of Bin Laden taking down the twin towers, (insinuating how impossible it would be) that sparked a memory.
Day of 9/11, The TV was in bosses office it was shortly after 8:30 am. Bin Laden released a message to the world, “We did not do this, we have nothing to do with this attack”. I remember it distinctly; after all the terrorist events of Al Queda claiming credit, the destruction of the twin towers,this was the only event they didn’t take credit for.
No one listened! And I believe that this statement he said (subtley) “sure we do terrorist events, but we are not responsible for this”.
Odd that I remember this clearly, but at this point theres no proof he said it!
