The bible clearly states that Joseph was in Nazareth to pay the taxes. Find out when the taxes were collected in first century Judea and you will have the approximate time period of Jesus' birth. I would suspect they had a month or so to comply, so that would narrow it down some. I would also assume it would be during a fair weather season when travel would be best.

September would make sense. Joseph and Mary were in Nazareth to pay taxes when she gave birth. It would make sense to collect taxes in the fall when the harvests are happening and the farmers and merchants are at the greatest wealth for the year.

The Scofield Reference Bible is their control mechanism. Has been since its introduction. It's the reason for Christian Zionism and the acceptance of the modern state of "Israel." The pulpits have fallen apostate because of it. The preachers are silent amidst a flood of degeneracy.

Fred Phelps was right.
