a strange find I did yesterday … I was thinking about the end credits song of the first episode of the Q In To The Storm doc and tried to find it in youtube, it was a cover version of the 60s psychedelic anthem White Rabbit that has Alice in Wonderland lyrics … in the doc the tune was a kind of 8 bit chip tune track with computer synthesized or effected vocals … I could not find that but turns out the earliest White Rabbit remix predates MAGA, it's from the year 2015 and it features an Autist who has heard something wonderful, wants everybody to hear it so that America could be unified …
the original arrangement was done mostly in ominous, mysterious, exotic sounding Phrygian mode/Spanish flamenco scale, and first I couldn't understand why the artist had totally ditched this very distinctive sound that was used quite a lot in dark techno or psychedelic/Goa trance … but then i realized the new chords fitted in a great way to the melody, made the whole tune different so that it suited the video perfectly …
It sounded and looked very uplifting but there were strange disturbing flashes/flashbacks that shocked me
