Nearly 100% of my covid patients are unvaccinated - and I am seeing 10 in a 4 hour shift (virtually). They are sucking up so much time and energy from all the providers that no one can even get in to get their blood pressure medicines refilled or be seen for other acute conditions such as abdominal pain or UTIs. The people I see are also getting Workmen’s Comp for their Covid because many exposures are work related, but they have chosen to be unvaccinated. I guess that Workmen’s Comp. insurance will be going up….very frustrating. Worse than the clinics are the hospitals. They are there as well…Sucking up nearly all the resources. Physicians and nurses have such low morale right now. They feel like nobody cares. Many are thinking of leaving the field.
