What a shit show. Would be great to see a few MH-6 little birds swoop in with DEVGRU or Delta operators on benches, MH-60s with Marines secure the perimeter, JSOC operators crash the wedding. 90% of the world's worst, all in one place.

I am a millennial. One of the oldest, born in very early 80s to silent gen parents. I'm doing fine, head not up my ass, but my generation has bought the whole "free shit" shtick because, in general, we're fucked. They think that student loan debt forgiveness will solve all of their problems. Just that. And free shit, of course. No. Not even close. One BIG step to solve the problem is to forgive student loan debt, coupled with abolishing the entire federal student loan program. I say wipe the slate clean because there's no way in hell that money will ever be repaid. It's better to wipe it from the books and never make the same mistake again.

Alternatively (to the forgiveness or along with it), hold universities accountable for the outcomes. If they graduate 100 people in a program, but only 5 find a job that's related to their major, they lose federal funding. 5% placement rate is beyond pathetic. It means there's no demand or they're graduating incompetent people.

Stop giving these jagoff university administrators more money. Whenever the feds raise student loan limits, the universities increase tuition. End it…completely. Make the universities and colleges compete for talent, students which will drive down tuition faster than you can blink your eye. If universities know they can't keep pulling this shit, it will end and the wheat will be separated from the chaff. That's capitalism unrestrained.

They're not ALL useless. Just the ones who major in humanities. Or social sciences. They're just fucking idiots for buying into the whole "follow your dreams, do what you want regardless of income potential." Those majors just happen to be where the brainwashing occurs. I never experienced it in business school but I know plenty of nutty people with useless degrees in psychology, sociology, anthropology, etc.

I'm lucky to have silent generation parents who told me to get a job when I turned 16. Encouraged my entrepreneurial spirit when I started a lawn mowing business as a kid/early teen. Didn't tell me to "Follow my dreams." Told me to find something I'm good at that pays well. So I did.
