Just watched Wargames (1983) with my teen last night.
The hard thing is to sit and watch the bombs hit on the computer screen and have faith that the real cities and people will be safe.
The easy thing was to go to all out war and destroy the world.
We have to hope we've been prepared to do the hard thing and realize the folks running the simulation war aren't real. Their wars aren't our wars.
