Nancy Pelosi was hanging out with the Soros family this past weekend, George and son Alexander.

Of course, masks were optional. They did not expect any photo ops for the plebes.

Maybe they were celebrating the collapse of US superpower status following Biden’s Afghanistan debacle?

SUPERCUT: Rebel News poses questions to leaders at French-language debate

https://www.rebelnews.com/rebel_news_poses_questions_to_leaders_at_french_language_debate

See the reaction from party leaders to questions posed by Rebel journalists following the French-language debate.

Following not one, but two victories over the Leaders' Debates Commission, Rebel News was granted access for 11 of our journalists to ask questions following the two debates sanctioned by the commission.

Upon the conclusion of the debate, the party leaders — excluding Maxime Bernier of the People's Party, who, despite polling ahead of both the Bloc Quebecois and Green Party, was not invited — each took to the podium one by one to answer questions from the media.

Rebel journalists got through numerous times, posing questions to Justin Trudeau, Erin O'Toole, Jagmeet Singh and Annamie Paul.

While O'Toole and Paul cited audio difficulties in their responses to our questions, Trudeau and Singh took different approaches. Trudeau, when asked by Rebel's Tamara Ugolini about the two court victories allowing us to even ask questions, Trudeau hypocritically blamed Rebel for divisions in Canada.

Singh, meanwhile, refused to answer consecutive questions from Alexa Lavoie and Katherine Krozonouski.

Watch above and see all of our questions.

Conservative Party leader confirms he’ll work with provinces to create national vaccine passport system

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/conservative-party-leader-confirms-hell-work-with-provinces-to-create-national-vaccine-passport-system/

'The provinces have a series of systems of proof of vaccination, QR codes, vaccine passports,' Erin O'Toole said.

COQUITLAM, British Columbia (LifeSiteNews) – The leader of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) said last week that if elected he will work with the provinces to implement a Canadian COVID-19 vaccine passport system.

“It’s a time for all levels of government to work together, municipal, provincial, federal, to fight COVID-19, to get vaccination levels up to 90 percent. That is our goal,” said CPC leader Erin O’Toole at a news conference last Friday in Coquitlam, British Columbia, to speak about a “fourth wave” of COVID-19 driven by the Delta variant of the virus.

“The provinces have a series of systems of proof of vaccination, QR codes, vaccine passports,” he continued. “We will respect what the provinces are doing, partner with them to make sure that we have that for foreign traveling by Canadians.”

O’Toole said he was “alarmed” by Chief Public Health Officer of Canada’s Dr. Theresa Tam’s latest update on COVID-19. Tam claimed last week that Canada could see up to 15,000 daily cases of COVID-19 within the month.

O’Toole said Tam’s briefings should “resume regularly” and that “we urgently need a path out of this crisis today.”

In speaking with reporters at the press conference, O’Toole said he does not want to “create this us versus them approach,” but urged everyone to get COVID-19 shots, with he said are “safe.” Continue…

Quebec healthcare workers to be suspended without pay for refusing COVID vaccines

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/quebec-healthcare-workers-to-be-suspended-without-pay-for-refusing-covid-vaccines/

The new vaccine directive will apply to “100 percent of employees” in the healthcare industry, Quebec health minister Christian Dubé said.

LifeSiteNews has produced an extensive COVID-19 vaccines resources page. View it here.

QUEBEC CITY, Quebec (LifeSiteNews) – Healthcare workers in Quebec will have to choose between bodily autonomy and their pay.

On Tuesday, Quebec health minister Christian Dubé told healthcare workers in the province that if they are not fully vaccinated with coronavirus injections by October 15, they will be suspended without pay.

Dubé told the public that the new directive will apply to “everybody … 100 percent of employees.” This includes doctors, nurses, and private clinic workers, as well as midwives, medical imaging technicians, and paramedics.

The vaccine passport system in Quebec, which went into effect last week and requires patrons to present a QR code sent to them by the government before access is granted into certain businesses, will also become stricter as a result of the new directive.

The medical discrimination passport initially only applied to “non-essential services,” such as gyms and restaurants, but with this new mandate will now also apply to anyone visiting a hospital. A person will not be able to enter a hospital to visit a sick or dying relative if the visiting person is not vaccinated.

“We are going to have to reorganize the healthcare system,” said Francois Legault, Quebec’s premier, who went on to say that Quebec’s healthcare system is experiencing a worker shortage as many people have quit their jobs due to the pandemic.

Legault said he is debating using incentives, such as increased pay and improved working conditions, to convince former health workers to come back to their positions.

Keep me updated via email on this petition and related issues. Sign this Petition

The new measure, which forces healthcare workers to receive two doses of an experimental vaccine or lose their source of income, triggered immediate backlash.

“We’re not sure that it’s the best means going forward,” Jeff Begley, head of the federation of health and social services union (FSSS-CSN), said. “We think that despite the obligation of vaccination, that the key is to keep the protections [of worker autonomy] in place.”

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, 87 percent of Quebecers have received at least one dose of the vaccine. In addressing the 13 percent who are unvaccinated, Legault claims “that experts say this [Delta] variant is so contagious, they are worried the whole of the 13 percent could end up in hospital.” Continue…

How to resist COVID jab mandates in Canada — a comprehensive guide

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/how-to-resist-covid-jab-mandates-in-canada/

Readers have been asking what they can practically do or who they can turn to for help on this disturbing situation. In response, LifeSite has compiled information and links to organizations and legal resources to help Canadians resist vaccine mandates with a full understanding of their options.

We have made this document available to download as a PDF here — How to resist COVID jab mandates in Canada — a comprehensive guide

Also, this is intended to be an open document that will be added to should we find or are advised of additional resources. If you have such information, whether it is for general use, or pertains to a specific profession, trade or group, please contact us here, and we will review and add to the list when confirmed.

Because of COVID vaccination mandates, numerous Canadians have become very concerned about losing freedoms, careers, jobs, education and more. Readers have been asking what they can practically do or who they can turn to for help on this disturbing situation.

In response, LifeSite has compiled information and links to organizations and legal resources to help Canadians resist vaccine mandates with a full understanding of their options.

It should also be noted that the Canadian situation is not the same as the American; we operate under different legal frameworks, thus it is important to utilize resources specific to your locale. Canadian provinces act differently than American states, and the different countries have different levels of application of authority from a federal level.

In some cases, unions are helping employees assert their rights, which is great, and if you have this option, then that is something to consider. In other cases, there is no express legal protection offered by a professional association, therefore a different approach is necessary.

It should provide Canadians with hope, however, that the question of mandated vaccination has come up before in various institutions, and Canadians have happily been validated in their rights. The COVID situation is unprecedented and of a massive scale, however the Law is still the Law. Know your rights and assert them boldly.

We are not advocating for any particular legal position but are instead offering a comprehensive resource of information that should prove to be helpful.

Religious and conscience objections

Different institutions are more or less rigorous about what constitute grounds for religious exemption. For example, Niagara University requires a simple statement of religious belief, other organizations may operate similarly. Some organizations, however, ask for a signature from a recognized cleric, which is of course more involved and would require direct participation from a willing cleric.

Anecdotally, some of our journalists have heard from people that employers have been less willing to accept religious exemptions. Schools have been generally more willing, with virtually every school with a mandate in place having specific information for religious exemptions. Continue…

Quebec to implement COVID-19 vaccine passport on Sept. 1 in the face of 'inevitable' 4th wave

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/toronto-councillor-pushing-vaccine-passports-opposed-police-carding-in-2015/

A Toronto city councillor who pushed for vaccine passports to be implemented in Ontario was a vehement opponent of the practice of police carding in 2015, social media posts reveal.

Last month, Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam urged the Ontario government to implement a sweeping vaccine passport system similar to the one currently in place in Quebec.

Under the program, digital proof of vaccination would be required to enter so-called non-essential services such as restaurants, bars, events and other locations.

Along with producing a vaccine passport, Canadians will be required to also provide photo ID to access those public settings.

In 2015, Wong-Tam tweeted about how the practice of carding, or police officers stopping people who meet the description of wanted crime suspects to produce identification, was a form of racial profiling.

True North reached out to Wong-Tam to ask whether she held the same views when it comes to the vaccine passport but did not receive a response.

According to official statistics, vaccine hesitancy is highest among black Canadians and some Indigenous populations.

“Certain sub-groups in Canada are more likely to report COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. These include black Canadians, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, and younger adults, among others,” a federal government backgrounder claims.

Recently, Ontario’s Advocate for Community Opportunities Jamil Jivani came out against the government’s plan to implement vaccine passes, saying it would create second class citizens.

“I agree with Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s comments on July 15, when he said vaccine passports will create a two-tiered, ‘split society.’ Provincial mandatory vaccine passports will further marginalize a significant number of Canadians who are already struggling in our economy,” Jivani said on social media.

“Illegal” walk in Ontario nets hikers $880 each in COVID fines

https://www.rebelnews.com/illegal_walk_in_ontario_nets_hikers_880_dollars_each_in_covid_fines

A trip to enjoy the natural beauty of Manitoulin Island, Ontario, ended up with three cop cars showing up to issue a couple of $880 lockdown tickets.

Jason Langelier and his friend Matthieu Fortin are a couple of outdoorsy guys who like to stay active, stay healthy and enjoy nature. But that love of the wilderness and personal well-being recently put the two on the wrong side of the law.

Back in March, when Langelier and Fortin decided to go for a hike on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, the two pals ended up having a heck of a day. First, they got stuck in a bus that doubles as an RV. Then their day in the great nature of Ontario closed with three cop cars showing up, not to help them, but to issue the pair a couple of $880 lockdown tickets. Their crime? Going on an illegal walk outside in Premier Doug Ford's prison province of Ontario.

The good news in this bad news story of nonsensical health regulations is that the two friends are being helped by Rebel News' civil liberties project, www.FightTheFines.com. Fortin and Langelier now have the assistance of a top-notch legal team, including our freedom-fighting paralegal Jenna Little, to help them fight their lockdown tickets in court at no cost to them.

Walking outside in the middle of nowhere should not be cause for the dispatch of three police cruisers! To offset the legal cost to remind the government of Ontario of this inconvenient fact, you can donate at www.FightTheFines.com. Langelier and Fortin are just two of over 2,000 other normal Canadians who are fighting their lockdown tickets through your generous crowdfunding and a partnership with the registered Canadian charity, The Democracy Fund.

All donations to The Democracy Fund now qualify for a charitable tax receipt.

CBC’s 'Marg, Warrior Queen': your tax dollars hard at work

https://www.rebelnews.com/cbcs_marg_warrior_queen_your_tax_dollars_hard_at_work

David Menzies runs into an alleged comedian from CBC's “hit” show, This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes, which is allegedly a comedy show that airs on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, features a character called Marg, formerly a Warrior Princess and now a Warrior Queen. Queen of what, you ask? How about Queen of Your Taxpayer Dollars, given that her employer, the CBC, receives more than $1 billion in subsidies per year from the federal government.

When we came across Marg outside the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que., she was doing her groovy shtick in front of a group of People’s Party of Canada supporters. That was very interesting indeed, given that one of the superb planks of the PPC platform is that if elected, the PPC would defund the CBC.

We sought feedback regarding that policy initiative from Her Highness. Indeed, we wanted to know why Canadians are obligated to fund the CBC in the first place. Embracing that wacko philosophy that “two wrongs make a right,” the CBC Khaleesi noted that the United Kingdom’s BBC broadcaster is taxpayer-funded, too.

(Um, being fans of the free market, we’d like to see the BBC defunded of government money, too, to put more money back into the pockets of Britons…)

She also inexplicably played the victim card, stating that “no one has ever threatened to defund you guys [Rebel News].”

Hey, Marg, newsflash: Rebel News doesn’t receive a single dime of taxpayer money — nor would we accept that money if offered. We sell subscriptions to our premium content shows and ask for voluntary donations — in other words, we embrace the most honest sort of fundraising there is.

Marg, unable to further bolster her argument that CBC employees should be entitled to their entitlements, soon bolted into the night, doing swordplay with her plastic sabres and cackling aloud… proving that, well, at least one person in Canada found her act downright hilarious.

FACT-CHECK: Exposing Trudeau’s FOUR lies during unhinged answer to Rebel News question

https://www.rebelnews.com/fact_check_trudeau_lies_about_rebel_news_during_wednesday_leaders_debate

Trudeau said he wouldn't refer to Rebel News as a media organization, after we successfully sued for access to the federal leaders' debates.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went viral on Wednesday night for responding to a question from Rebel News’ Tamara Ugolini at the federal leaders’ French-language debate.

“Mr. Trudeau, the only reason that I am allowed to ask you this question is because today, the federal court ruled that the government doesn’t have the right to determine who is or is not a journalist,” Tamara began.

“This is the second election in a row that the court has overturned your government. Do you still insist on being able to make that decision, and why?” she asked.

You can see Trudeau’s full response here:

Fact-check #1: Government doesn't deal with accreditation — FALSE

On October 30, 2018, Justin Trudeau's government announced that it would establish a commission to organize the leaders’ debates during federal elections.

This used to be done by different media organizations, but now is run by a governmental body called the Leaders' Debates Commission.

Fact-check #2: Rebel News spreads misinformation — FALSE

Trudeau refers to Rebel News as part of a group of "organizations like yours that continue to spread misinformation.”

Rebel News takes great lengths not to report misinformation. Justin Trudeau's government, however, was caught distributing a video during this election that Twitter flagged as manipulated media. The video was shared by Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, as well as Trudeau himself.

In fact, the Liberals have been continuously busted for distributing "fake news" or "misinformation." True North Centre pointed out ten different times that the government has done so, including calling the WE Charity scandal a made-up conspiracy.

Fact-check #3: Rebel News needs to take accountability for polarization — FALSE

In 2019, Global News contributor Tasha Kheiriddin wrote that "Trudeau is actually one of the most polarizing figures in Canadian politics… Trudeau, like his father Pierre Elliott Trudeau before him, has succeeded in dividing the country and producing one of the most bitter elections in recent memory."

According to the Government of Ontario's Advocate for Community Opportunities, Jamil Jivani, Trudeau’s proposed vaccine passports will create a two-tier society. With Trudeau's offer to pay $1 billion in taxpayer dollars for the provinces to implement vaccine passport programs, Trudeau is literally dividing the country. That's much more polarizing than journalists asking politicians questions.

Fact-check #4: The media ask Trudeau tough questions everyday — FALSE

In fact, Trudeau has bought off media outlets through large bailouts and receives some of the easiest questions from mainstream journalists, including asking what type of shampoo he uses and what his favourite book is.

Calgary rally supports biz owners who REFUSE to ask vaccine status

https://www.rebelnews.com/calgary_rally_supports_biz_owners_who_refuse_to_ask_vaccine_status

Job creators in Calgary fear that it's only a matter of time before the Alberta health authorities step in, all because they refuse to fire unvaccinated employees or question customers on their jab status.

Just one day after firefighters and frontline workers took to Calgary City Hall in opposition to vaccine mandates, folks were once again on location protesting in support of businesses who oppose vaccine passports.

Businesses have suffered extensively because of COVID-19 restrictions and limitations; many closed their doors for good over the past 19 months. Now businesses are facing a new kind of pressure, in the form of vaccine mandates.

We spoke with several business owners who feel that they have no right to violate the medical privacy of their employees. These job creators also fear that it is only a matter of time before government agencies will pressure them to fire unvaccinated employees, which they said they are not willing to do. The logistical costs of losing so many skilled workers would cripple their businesses, not to mention the toll it would take on the well-being of those employees.

Many of the protesters fear that their medical and bodily autonomy will be violated by new vaccine requirements. For all the political speak about “not forcing vaccines,” threatening someone’s essential employment might mean that they are unable to put food on the table for their family. If that isn’t forcing vaccines outright, it is at the very least an extreme form of coercion.

Others in attendance were double-vaccinated and stood no personal risk of loss of employment, but they were there because they categorically oppose policies which violate people's right to choose for themselves.

If you are a business owner that will respect the medical privacy of your customers and oppose vaccine passports, let us know at WeWontAsk.com.

Twitter testing emoji reactions to tweets, similar to Facebook

https://www.rebelnews.com/twitter_testing_emoji_reactions_to_tweets_similar_to_facebook

Twitter may soon make reactions including the 'crying laughing' emoji available to users worldwide.

Twitter will soon offer its users a new way to be toxic. Hot on the heels of Facebook, which has long allowed its users to express their feelings about any given post through the use of emojis, Twitter will soon allow its users to react to tweets beyond hitting the “like” button or responding with a mean remark.

The social media company announced today that it is testing emoji reactions for tweets that go beyond simple likes. In the coming days, users in Turkey will be able to respond to tweets with the “face with tears of joy” emoji, the “thinking face” emoji, “clapping hands” emoji, “crying face,” or a simple “heart.” The test, which will run for a limited time, may soon expand to users worldwide. As detailed by Twitter in a mock-up screenshot, the emojis will be visible alongside the likes button.

While emoji reactions have been available on Facebook and other social media platforms for years, as well as Twitter itself in Spaces and in direct messages, this will be the first time that users will be able to express themselves on the timeline directly through emojis. Twitter’s selection of emojis seems to indicate that none of them are especially negative – there is no “angry face” emoji like there is on Facebook or anything to otherwise indicate disagreement with the post. It will be up to users to repurpose one of the existing available emojis, such as the thinking face emoji, to indicate disagreement or mockery.

Engadget reports:

Twitter narrowed it down to those additional four after conducting surveys and researching what the most common words and emoji are in Tweets. It found that the most popular one is the laughing emoji, and that people want to express reactions centered around "funny," "support/cheer," "agreement" and "awesome." It also identified "entertained" and "curious" as the top emotions people feel when reading tweets.

Its surveys also revealed that "frustration" and "anger" were common emotions experienced by users. While some people wanted to express disagreement with Tweets, the company decided not to incorporate that. Rather, it's trying to see if the new, more positive emoji will drive "healthy public conversations." It's also likely related to the high levels of polarization and toxicity on the site, something that Twitter has been keen to reduce over the past several years.

Twitter announced the limited test of emoji reactions with the launch of Twitter Communities, which allows users to establish specialized spaces where moderators can “pick the focus, create the Community rules, and invite people who will make it a great place for conversation.”

“Think of Communities as places created for conversation where the vibe and tone is set by people who share the same interests and want to have relevant conversations,” the company said.

“Moderators set the Community rules and can also invite others to moderate their space to keep things on track and focused. Right now, Community creation is limited but in the coming months, we’ll allow more people to create Communities so everyone can talk about their thing, whatever it is. Some of the initial Communities we’re testing surround popular conversations on Twitter. Examples include dogs, weather, sneakers, skincare, and astrology, with many more to come, reflecting more of the thriving and niche discussions on Twitter.”

Victoria Health APPROVES crowd of 70 for boxing, BANS worship of 10

https://www.rebelnews.com/victoria_health_approves_crowd_of_70_for_boxing_bans_worship_of_10

Jewish groups accuse the Victorian Health Department of double standards.

During a health crisis, the application of Covid restrictions should be applied equally across the community. This does not appear to be happening, with Victoria once again caught side-lining a religious event while permitting a sporting match.

Rosh Hashanah is the second holiest day on the Jewish calendar that requires ten men called ‘minyan’ to gather.

Jewish groups tried to get approval from Victoria Health for this gathering, agreeing to abide by social distancing regulations. The health department rejected their application on the grounds of risk. Last Friday, this dispute made its way to the Federal Court where it was subsequently dismissed.

At the same time that the Jewish religious event was effectively shut down, the same Victorian Health Department permitted a boxing match to go ahead in front of a live crowd of sixty-nine people.

The Muay Thai boxing event was held indoors at the Melbourne Pavilion in Kensington under ‘restricted activity directions’ which Victoria health created for professional sporting events.

Victorian Police confirmed that they were in attendance at the Father's Day boxing match, but did not find any breach of public health orders.

All of this is happening while police lay in wait outside places of worship all over the city, particularly within the Jewish community.

The Health Department justified their exemption by saying the fight fit into the special category of ‘professional or high-performance sports persons’. No one at the Health Department has explained why professional sport is ‘less risky’ than religious gatherings.

Everyone at the boxing event abided by Covid-safe directions, where the crowd signed a good faith declaration that they had not been at a Covid hot spot. Religious groups were not given the opportunity to do the same.

The Jewish community are not the only ones being discriminated against by the Victorian Health Department. Gyms, clubs, and restaurants are also closed – not to mention playgrounds.

Even when religious communities are given approval, they have found themselves the target of heavy-handed police attention.

“The obvious overreach of the police in the Caulfield and St Kilda East areas during the two days of Rosh Hashanah was most disturbing,” said Rabbi Yaakov Glasman in a Facebook post.

“I am not referring to the police response to the clear violations of the current health regulations in the form of illegal prayer services. All Victorians must abide by the law even if they vehemently disagree with it.

“I am referring to the many members of the Jewish community who, like last year, were participating in the Project High Holydays experience as sanctioned and approved by DHS and Victoria Police themselves but were accosted by the police for doing just that.”

Maxime Bernier discusses his campaign trail assault

https://www.rebelnews.com/maxime_bernier_discusses_his_campaign_trail_assault

“We will unite the people, under the umbrella of freedom!” cheered People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier this past Saturday at a ‘Mad Max’ campaign tour event.

The event took place outdoors, in the pouring rain, at Vancouver's Jack Poole Plaza. Despite the unfavourable weather, hundreds more showed up to hear from Bernier and local PPC candidates as compared to any of the prime minister's recent Lower Mainland campaign events.

Despite the public interest, there was not a single mainstream media journalist in sight.

In this full report I interview several of the local PPC candidates, who, similarly to Bernier not being invited to participate in the federal leaders' debates, are reporting being excluded from local debates in their ridings. I also speak to Bernier to ask about his party’s stance on the environment, freedom-minded Canadians who believe taking a stand against our increasingly totalitarian government means not voting, and about his recent assault.

That’s right — it wasn’t just Trudeau who had something hucked at him on the campaign trail. Bernier had a cowardly citizen ask to pose with him in a picture, just before surprising Bernier by smashing an egg on his head.

I wonder if Conservative leader Erin O’Toole will come to Bernier’s rescue with a public statement condemning such an action, like he did for Trudeau.

Rebel News has had our boots on the ground across Canada during this election, in order to bring you coverage you won’t receive from state-paid media. We even had to sue our way into the federal debate, so that we could ask real questions to which Canadians deserve answers.

Victoria Health APPROVES crowd of 70 for boxing, BANS worship of 10

victoria_health_approves_crowd_of_70_for_boxing_bans_worship_of_10

Jewish groups accuse the Victorian Health Department of double standards.'

PPC supporters protest Bernier’s exclusion from Federal Leaders’ Debate

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/ppc-supporters-protest-berniers-exclusion-from-federal-leaders-debate/

The People’s Party of Canada “will not be ignored.” A recent campaign email urged supporters to stand outside the Federal Leaders’ Debate venue to protest Maxime Bernier’s exclusion.

Approximately 20 protestors chanted “Let Max Speak” outside of the French debates on Wednesday and more are expected to gather on Thursday for the English debate.

According to the Leaders’ Debate Commission, to be eligible to participate in the debate, a party leader must either have at least one MP in the House of Commons, have a national support level of at least 4%, five days after the date of the election call or have received at least 4% of the vote in the 2019 federal election.

Although the PPC did not meet the criteria, they have been consistently polling ahead of the Green Party, which will be included in the debate.

According to an exclusive True North poll, the PPC and Greens are effectively tied nationally. Further, the PPC is ahead of the Greens in Ontario, on the Prairies and in BC. The PPC also has candidates in over 90% of ridings across the country, while the Greens have candidates in less than 75% of ridings.

The PPC is attracting more attention than most of the major political parties. Google searches for Bernier’s party outnumber all of the other parties. The PPC is getting more than double the searches than the Conservative Party, almost four times as many searches as the Liberal Party and almost six times as many as the Green Party, which is lagging behind the others.

Bernier has previously said that the decision to exclude him “confirms the existence of the political establishment cartel which has sought to deny the existence of the PPC since its inception.”

The PPC has accused “establishment elites in the government and media” of silencing them. Bernier says the media has portrayed the PPC as “racist and intolerant” and has not included them in their daily coverage.

The PPC claims that Bernier was excluded because he will disrupt the mainstream narrative and that if “given a credible platform, his message will resonate with average Canadians.”

Justin Trudeau avoids question on whether Canada is still committing genocide

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/justin-trudeau-genocide/

Justin Trudeau isn’t saying whether Canada is still engaging in genocide against Indigenous women and girls.

In 2019, Trudeau said he accepted a finding from an inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls that a “genocide” was currently taking place in Canada.

“We accept their findings, including that what happened amounts to genocide,” Trudeau said at the time.

Asked Wednesday night in a post-debate scrum in Gatineau whether that was still the case, Trudeau side-stepped the question, instead touting his visit to a former residential school in Saskatchewan.

“When I visited Cowessess First Nations to grieve with them over the unmarked graves of the children that we had so cruelly mistreated as a country and ripped away from their families over the past many, many generations and decades, we also took a very concrete step forward on removing kids at risk from the provincial system of treatment and keeping them in their communities, in their language,” Trudeau said.

“And it is concrete steps like that that actually doesn’t (sic) just grieve over the terrible tragedies of the past but takes steps to correct and move forward that makes all the difference.”

Trudeau was referring to the June 2021 announcement by the Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan of a burial site with 751 unmarked graves near the site of the former Marieval Indian Residential School. However, a local band member said the graves were in an existing cemetery and included children and adults, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous.

Weeks later, Trudeau signed an agreement transferring child welfare responsibilities from the provincial government to the Cowessess First Nation itself, saying children “need to be kept by, protected by, supported by, and taught by their communities.”

Trudeau did not say how this move counters the “genocide” assertion in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls inquiry report, which said genocide is driven by “state actions and inactions rooted in colonialism and colonial ideologies.”

The Cowessess graves were announced weeks after a similar claim of 215 unmarked graves at a site near the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia. Researchers later clarified that the findings included roughly 200 graves.

At the time, Trudeau ordered flags at Canadian government buildings be lowered to half mast, where they’ve remained since. Conservative leader Erin O’Toole has said it’s time for the flags to be raised again, arguing a commitment to reconciliation requires pride in Canada.

Toronto councillor pushing vaccine passports opposed police carding in 2015

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/toronto-councillor-pushing-vaccine-passports-opposed-police-carding-in-2015/

O’Toole says he will ban products created through slave labour

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/otoole-says-he-will-ban-products-created-through-slave-labour/

Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole pledged on Thursday that if elected his government would put an end to the import of goods produced through forced and enslaved labour.

According to a press release on the announcement, O’Toole singled out the Chinese Communist Party for its mass encampment of Uyghur Muslims.

“For years, we’ve known Uyghur slave labour is being used by China’s Communist regime in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region to produce products like cotton, tomatoes, and solar panels for export,” said O’Toole.

“As prime minister, I won’t hesitate to act against this disgusting practice and ensure that the worst human rights offenders don’t profit from these abuses.”

The Conservatives pledged to revise supply chain legislation and regulation to enforce an import ban on goods produced through forced labour.

“Through legislation similar to that proposed in the Senate through Bill S-216, Canada’s Conservatives will ban the importation of any goods produced by entities or within regions which are known to employ slave labour,” a policy backgrounder states.

If passed, Bill S-216, or the Modern Slavery Act, would impose “an obligation on certain entities to report on the measures taken to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour is used at any step in the production of goods in Canada.”

Canada’s allies, including the US and the UK, have passed similar laws including the July 2021 Forced Labour Prevention Act which was passed by the US Senate in July 2021.

According to Conservative critics, the Liberal government has done very little to punish China for its use of slave labour.

A recent report by the Globe and Mail found that Canadians were still able to purchase goods produced in the Xinjiang region where forced labour is common despite government measures requiring companies to attest that slave labour had not been used in the manufacturing process.

Jagmeet Singh says regulating online speech is “government’s responsibility”

https://tnc.news/2021/09/09/jagmeet-singh-says-regulating-online-speech-is-governments-responsibility/

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh says the government must step in because social media companies aren’t doing a good enough job at keeping “hate speech” off their platforms.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday night after the French leaders’ debate in Gatineau, Que., Singh said existing hate speech laws are not sufficiently preventing radicalization, though he didn’t explain at what point he thinks protected speech becomes “hate speech.”

“The Liberal government (has) acknowledged that there is a problem, but they haven’t acted in six years,” Singh said. “They haven’t done anything to take on hate speech online, and without any action from the government, we’re leaving it in the hands of the web giants or the social media giants, and they are not equipped, nor have they shown, really, the willingness, to take on online hate. They allow it to spread, and I believe it is the government’s responsibility.”

Singh said a government response must involve the power to “remove immediately misinformation that incites hatred and act quickly to stop the spread of those type of messages online.”

Such a move would likely involve fining social media companies if they fail to purge content prohibited by the government within 24 hours, as the Liberals have proposed.

Singh added that Trudeau’s purported inaction on regulating online speech has resulted in “people being radicalized.”

He did not provide any examples, but said “some of the worst massacres in Canada recently were the result of people who were radicalized by online hate.”

On the day of the last House of Commons sitting before the election, the Liberals tabled Bill C-36, which would reinstate a previously repealed section of the Canadian Human Rights Act allowing for prosecution of online “hate speech.”

The section was scrapped by the previous Conservative government amid concerns about its effect on free speech after the Canadian Human Rights Commission used it to target bloggers and authors.

Singh was asked how much consideration he would give to protecting freedom of expression in any attempt to regulate online speech, but he did not address this in his response.

The Criminal Code already prohibits hate speech in Canada, with a high threshold for prosecution. Efforts to combat hate speech through human rights laws lower this threshold considerably, giving human rights tribunals wide latitude to pursue cases even in the absence of a complaint.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms derided Bill C-36 as “frighteningly despotic and totalitarian.” The People’s Party of Canada said it would be used as a tool to criminalize everything but “far-left woke speech,” eventually.

While the Conservatives were initially silent on C-36 when it was introduced, the party’s campaign platform closed the door to using human rights laws to address online speech.

Federal leadership debates: why don’t we get to see the PPC on TV?

https://www.rebelnews.com/federal_leadership_debates_why_don_t_we_get_to_see_the_ppc_on_tv

One thing conspicuously absent from the 2021 federal leadership debates versus the 2019 debates is the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, Maxime Bernier.

But why? The PPC is trending higher in the polls than the Bloc Québécois and the Green Party.

We spoke to various PPC candidates and their supporters outside the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que., the venue for Wednesday’s French-language leaders' debate.

Needless to say, they were not happy campers. Can you blame them?

Then again, we here at Rebel News know what it’s like to be excluded from federal debates. So perhaps Mr. Bernier needs to play hardball: namely, take this old boys’ club to Federal Court? It has worked twice for Rebel News; maybe it can work for the PPC as well?

Lord knows, the snooze-fest that was Wednesday’s debate could have used a character like Maxime Bernier, someone who seldom beats around the bush nor bends the knee to political correctness.

Tik Tok Recommends Sex, Drug And Alcohol-Themed Content To Minors Aged 13 To 15, WSJ Investigation Reveals

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/tik-tok-recommends-sex-drug-and-alcohol-themed-content-minors-aged-13-15-wsj-investigation

Tik Tok's algorithms are routinely serving up sexual content and content containing drugs and alcohol to children as young as 13, a new investigation from the Wall Street Journal revealed this week.

Using the app under the guise of being a 13 year old user who searched for the term "onlyfan", Tik Tok even presented the user of two instances of selling pornography.

Sexually oriented videos were also included in Tik Tok's "For You" page, the investigation revealed. Content on this page, which is similar to Twitter's timeline, is based off of prior searches and content that a user has spent the most time searching for, The Daily Mail added.

As the "13 year old" user browsed more sexual content, more was recommended to them, despite the user's age clearly being marked as 13 in their profile.

Tik Tok has responded by saying they are "working on a new filter tool for younger accounts," the Daily Mail wrote.

The investigation took place using 31 bot accounts who were set between the ages of 13 and 15 in order to try and determine what type of content younger Tik Tok users were being shown. It revealed that feeds would eventually wind up becoming more focused on increasingly inappropriate content.

The Journal wrote:

Even when the Journal’s accounts were programmed to express interest in multiple topics, TikTok sometimes zeroed in on single topics and served them hundreds of videos about one in close succession.

TikTok served one account, which had been programmed with a variety of interests, hundreds of Japanese film and television cartoons. In one streak of 150 videos, all but four featured Japanese animation—many with sexual themes.

One account that was set up to appear as though it was being used by a 13 year old, was shown 569 videos about drug user, including cocaine and meth addiction. It was also shown promotional videos for the online sale of drug products.

Other videos featured alcohol and eating disorders.

Reporters from the WSJ sent Tik Tok more than 1,000 videos showing the inappropriate content that was shown to the teenage accounts. 255 videos were removed from the platform, including several videos about adults entering relationships with other adults who were pretending to be children.

Tik Tok responded: "Protecting minors is vitally important, and TikTok has taken industry-first steps to promote a safe and age-appropriate experience for teens.”

A company spokesperson told The Mail: "While the activity and resulting experience of these bots in no way represents the behaviour and viewing experience of a real person, we continually work to improve our systems and we're reviewing how to help prevent even highly unusual viewing habits from creating negative cycles, particularly for our younger users."

The company continued: "We care deeply about the safety of minors, which is why we build youth well-being into our policies, limit features by age, empower parents with tools and resources, and continue to invest in new ways to enjoy content based on age-appropriateness or family comfort."

The Club of Rome Invents Bogeymen to Terrorize Mankind

https://www.henrymakow.org/

(In 1972, the Club of Rome predicted global collapse in 2020)

Terrorism expert Marc Sageman predicted bio terror false flags in 2010.

"YOU MAY HAVE TO KILL 80% OF THE PEOPLE, because you know, because what's really ruining it is overpopulation, and the only thing that can kill that efficiently are BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS. THIS IS A COVERT BIOLOGICAL WEAPON … you're talking about five billion people dying here."

Marc Sageman, Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS)

Makow -"Bio terror false flag." Describes the covid psy op exactly. The climate change hoax and the covid plandemic are cut from the same cloth. Both advance the Communist NWO agenda: "The Club of Rome admitted that they manufactured the threat of anthropogenic global warming as a "unifying external threat" that would place the blame on humanity (and this would obviously make people sympathetic to the Globalist rhetoric of "global problems requiring global solutions…")

These are excerpts from a 2017 review by "Buckwheat 1294" of a video by George Hunt

The Club of Rome, was founded in Rockefeller's estate in Bellagio in 1968.

The Club of Rome then established itself with the launch of it's book "Limits to Growth in 1972", which aroused the fear of immanent danger from overpopulation.

After this, they released a Report entitled "Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System" which was part of their "Strategy for Survival Project". It put forth the goal of submerging nation states into 10 Global Regions for the administrative convenience of a World Government:

Plans for the evolution of Globalism were put forth in the Club of Rome texts "Mankind at the Turning Point" and "RIO: Reshaping the International Order". Relevant excerpts from these texts are available here:

A follow up text, "Goals for Mankind" was released in 1977. An overview of it is provided here:

"Global 2000", a U.S. policy document along these lines, was written in 1979. It was very much like the text "Limits to Growth", creating extreme fears about the "threat" of "overpopulation". Pages 702-703 called for an "intensively managed world" and fertility reduction in order to offset these perceived threats:

Many of these people have used these arguments as an excuse to increase governmental power.

One such example is Arnold Toynbee, director of studies for the Royal Institute of International Affairs, who, addressing these issues, said in that "In all developed countries a new way of lifea severely regimented waywill have to be imposed by a ruthless authoritarian government" (cited by Arthur Miller in an article in the Washington and Lee Law Review, Volume 41, Issue 4, p. 1262):

Many of these people have put forth plans for massive population reduction (as shown in the Cobden Clubs papers above). Numbers vary, but there are admissions from influential policy planning think tanks that there are plans to reduce Earth's population by up to 80%.

In the text "The First Global Revolution", leading "intellectual elites" in the Club of Rome admitted that they manufactured the threat of anthropogenic global warming as a "unifying external threat" that would place the blame on humanity (and this would obviously make people sympathetic to the Globalist rhetoric of "global problems requiring global solutions"), and that appointed bureaucracies must replace any vestige of democracy as a governing force. The relevant chapter is called "The Vacuum". Excerpts are as follows:

"It would seem that men and women need a common motivation, namely a common adversary to organize and act together; in the vacuum such motivations seem to have ceased to exist‚ or have yet to be found.

The need for enemies seems to be a common historical factor. States have striven to overcome domestic failure and internal contradictions by designating external enemies. The scapegoat practice is as old as mankind itself. When things become too difficult at home, divert attention by adventure abroad. Bring the divided nation together to face an outside enemy, either a real one or else one invented for the purpose…."

THE COMMON ENEMY OF HUMANITY IS MAN Continue…

Big chill for climate doom: Arctic Sea ice is expanding

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/big-chill-for-climate-doom-arctic-sea-ice-is-expanding/

In addition, the Arctic sea melt this summer was the lowest in 15 years, and the expanse of Antarctic sea is well above average.

(WND News Center) – Less than 10 years remain before the oft-claimed “tipping point” for the planet, but sea ice in the Arctic Ocean is the highest it’s been in nine years, increasing more than 30% from last year, while the Antarctic’s level is well above normal.

That’s according to the Ocean and Sea Ice Satellite Application Facility’s High Latitude Processing Center, pointed out climate-change skeptic Tony Heller.

He noted the Arctic Ocean gained a record amount of sea ice during the first week of September.

“Most years the Arctic loses ice, but this year ice extent has increased” more than 77,000 square miles, he wrote on Twitter, adding the news likely would not be reported by CNN, BBC News or the New York Times.

Meanwhile, the sea melt this summer was the lowest in 15 years, and the expanse of Antarctic sea is well above average.

In January 2019, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., drew attention to the claim of some climate-change activists that a U.N. climate report the previous year concluded the planet had only 12 years to address climate change.

Speaking at an annual MLK Now event in New York City, she defended the trillion-dollar price tag she proposes for addressing climate change through her “Green New Deal.”

“Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us, are looking up, and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?’”

Ocasio-Cortez’s claim of impending doom relies on the 2018 U.N. “Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5ºC,” which did not conclude the world would end in 12 years. The climate scientists who produced the report warned that any rise in global warming of more than 1.5 degrees celsius by 2030 would result in drought, floods, extreme heat and poverty for hundreds of millions of people.

However, 2018 marked 30 years of failed climate-alarm predictions, with many forecasts of a “point of no return” and a “critical tipping point” having long passed.

In July 2019, as WND reported, the left-wing thought leader Think Progress warned that the deadline was actually only a little more than a year, because the planet would be doomed if President Trump were re-elected in November 2020.

‘Greatest threat to global public health’

This week, the New York Times reported a number of leading health and medical journals declared climate change “the greatest threat to global public health” and called on governments to respond with the urgency with which they confronted the coronavirus pandemic.

The declarations followed the announcement that the Biden Health and Human Services Department will treat climate change as a public health issue.

The Daily Caller pointed out that governments and public health bodies could invoke emergency authority as they have in response to COVID-19 and enforce drastic measures such as curbing private-vehicle use, consumption of animal products and fossil fuel drilling.

A study published in Nature Climate Change in March found that during the 2020 lockdowns, carbon emissions fell by about 2.6 billion metric tons in 2020. A pandemic-scale lockdown once every two years would produce an equivalent decline in emissions over the long-term, the researchers concluded.

“If climate activists were allowed, they would take us from COVID lockdowns straight into climate lockdowns,” JunkScience.com founder Steve Milloy told the Daily Caller. “Now that they’ve seen arbitrary lockdowns successfully imposed under the guise of a ‘public health emergency,’ they can’t wait for federal, state and local declarations of a climate emergency to achieve the same sort of dominance over us.”

WHY ISN’T ANYONE TALKING ABOUT NATURAL IMMUNITY?

https://www.wakingtimes.com/why-isnt-anyone-talking-about-natural-immunity/

Daisy wrote an article recently on the “othering” of the unvaccinated. She went into detail regarding how individuals are blaming the unvaccinated for absolutely everything going wrong these days. I share her concern. There is a long, detailed history of the “othering” of a population leading to all sorts of horrors. However, it is wrong at a more mundane level, as well. Public discourse surrounding the pandemic seems to focus solely on vaccination as a means of achieving herd immunity. Those who have recovered from the disease and have natural immunity, are being completely ignored.

Natural immunity.

The most frustrating thing to me, the past year and a half, has been the constantly changing narrative and the dismissal of formerly well-understood scientific truths. Natural immunity is one of those concepts from freshman biology that many seem to completely disregard these days.

I think this is a natural effect of the “cult of expertise” we have in the United States. Seemingly, anyone with specific credentials is automatically deferred to, regardless of how competent they are… or more insidiously, where their financial interests lie.

If more of us were willing to think critically about the “science” in the news these days, we could be more confident in managing our health. A healthy, confident population willing to argue and drag its feet on accepting medical treatments with which they aren’t comfortable is hard to push around.

A population willing to do anything to just “get back to normal” is not.

We’re not going “back to normal.”

As early as April of 2020, Daisy wrote that we were never getting “back to normal.” And I agree.

But we can move forward a little more well-informed.

I’ve gotten into some discussions with medical professionals about whether people who have recovered from the disease need to be vaccinated. These conversations would have been seen as utterly ridiculous three years ago. However, now, it seems, we all need to relearn freshman biology. So I’d like to review the concept of natural immunity to help organize my thoughts and maybe help others that feel like their heads are in a whirl.

I’ve got my old college biology textbook-Life: The Science of Biology, by Purves, Sadava, Orians, and Heller. I’ve got the sixth edition, published in 2001, so it’s about 20 years old. I also have a newer college biology textbook because I’m a big nerd. It’s Campbell Biology, by Reece, Urry, Cain, Wasserman, Minorsky, and Jackson, published in 2014. Both textbooks detail how our immune systems work, and both say pretty much the same thing.

Our bodies have two major ways of defending against disease.

Our innate defenses are things like our skin and mucus. We’re born with these, and they make it difficult for various pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and multicellular parasites to enter our bodies. Our bodies also have an immune system that recognizes and attacks any infectious agents that make it past our innate defenses.

Our immune system is really sophisticated, and in healthy individuals, it works pretty well. Suppose some kind of pathogen makes it past the body’s innate defenses and begins infecting cells within the host. In that case, the host’s body will, in turn, start producing antibodies that will specifically attack the invading pathogen. The host body will continue producing antibodies until either the host dies or the invading cells die, and the patient’s body can return to normal.

The best part is, even after the active infection is over, the host’s body will retain the memory of the antibodies it produced during the infection. So if the formerly infected person reencounters the pathogen, the body will immediately have the antibodies to kill the pathogen. They rarely get sick again, and if they do, it’s generally very mild.

Even the incredibly pro-vaccine Wall Street Journal had an article on this recently.

Liberal candidate admits Trudeau may plan to tax home sales

https://tnc.news/2021/09/10/liberal-candidate-admits-trudeau-may-plan-to-tax-home-sales/

The federal Liberal candidate for New Brunswick Southwest Jason Hickey admitted that the party may tax people who are selling their homes if Justin Trudeau is re-elected on September 20th.

On Thursday, the Conservatives posted a video of Hickey speaking about a potential home sales tax.

“But of course, anyone selling their primary residence, if you do make money on that, unfortunately you will have to pay tax on that,” said Hickey. “I wouldn’t agree to that either, but it’s what we have to do.”

However, the Liberal Party Press Box posted a tweet with another video of Hickey, claiming the footage the Conservatives posted was misleading.

“I don’t think we plan on bringing that forth – I don’t think we do that,” said Hickey in the Liberal Party’s clip.

The Liberal Party accused Conservative MP Michelle Rempel Garner of lying when she shared the Conservatives’ video. Rempel said that calling her a liar is a serious charge.

“Your message is defamatory and must be removed immediately,” said Rempel. “Alternately, you’ll be getting a libel notice shortly.”

The Liberals have promised to establish an anti-flipping tax on residential properties, requiring people to live in them for at least one year. People who encounter changes in life circumstances such as pregnancy, death, new jobs and divorce will be exempted from the anti-flipping tax. No rate has been specified for the proposed tax.

The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation in 2020 spent $250,000 researching a home equity tax. Organizers of the project equated homeowners to lottery winners whose residences were tax shelters. The objective of the project was to identify solutions that could level the playing field between renters and owners.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at a press conference on Tuesday that if re-elected, there will not be a home sales tax.

“We will not do that,” said Trudeau. “That is something that we are not interested in doing.”

Hickey, the Conservatives and the Liberal Press Box could not be reached for further comment in time for publication.

Canadians rate Trudeau as the most out of touch federal leader: Leger poll

https://tnc.news/2021/09/10/canadians-rate-trudeau-as-the-most-out-of-touch-federal-leader-leger-poll/

A new poll released by Leger ahead of Thursday’s English language Federal Leaders’ Debate found that Canadians believed Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau to be the most out of touch with the everyday realities they are dealing with.

The online survey which was commissioned by Postmedia, polled 3,002 Canadian residents over the age of 18 between September 3, 2021 to September 6, 2021. A similar poll using a random sample would have a margin of error of ±1.8%, 19 times out of 20.

When survey respondents were asked to rate the most disappointing characteristics of each federal leader, Trudeau was found to be the least understanding of Canadians’ struggles.

In the poll, 24% of people said that the Liberal leader lacked an “understanding of what ordinary Canadians are dealing with.” Meanwhile, only 16% said the same of Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole, whereas NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh scored 10% in this category and Bloc Quebecois Leader Francois Yves-Blanchet received 9%.

Additionally, when asked whether Trudeau was “out of touch” with voters’ concerns, 30% of Canadians responded in the affirmative. On this question, O’Toole scored 15%, Singh received 8% and Yves-Blanchet received 7%.

“If you think back to 2015, he really connected. That was one of the things people talked a lot about, is that he really connected with the average Canadian on those major issues,” Leger’s Executive Director Andrew Enns told Postmedia.

“This is a bit of a flag as to why that Liberal campaign is really not taking off to the degree that perhaps they thought it might.”

According to the latest poll on voter intentions, the Conservatives have a slight lead over the Liberals. A recent Nanos poll revealed that 32.6% of Canadians said that they would cast their ballot for a Conservative candidate if an election were held today.

Meanwhile, only 30.6% of Canadians said they would be voting for a Liberal candidate in their riding.

Trudeau takes repeat jabs at Harper government during Leaders’ debate

https://tnc.news/2021/09/10/trudeau-takes-repeat-jabs-at-harper-government-during-leaders-debate/

Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau couldn’t help but take multiple jabs at former prime minister Stephen Harper during Thursday night’s English-language Leaders Debate.

On three occasions, Trudeau blamed the Harper government for various issues including his government’s inability to free the two Michaels imprisoned in China, his failure to reduce carbon emissions and the Winnipeg National Microbiology Laboratory controversy.

Harper has not been in power since Trudeau was first-elected prime minister in 2015.

After being accused of letting the two Michaels down by Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole, Trudeau deflected by claiming Harper’s strategy on China was unsuccessful.

“If you want to get the Michaels home, you do not simply lob tomatoes across the Pacific, that is what Mr. Harper tried for a number of years and didn’t get anywhere,” said Trudeau.

When asked about the Liberal government’s poor performance on reducing pollution over the last six years by debate moderators, Trudeau lashed out at Harper who he accused of not believing in the fight against climate change.

“We inherited a government from a Conservative that did not believe in the fight against climate change and we had a lot of catching up to do but what we were able to do in 6 years was to bring a national price on pollution, ban single-use plastics, move forward in protecting more of our coasts, oceans and rivers than any government in history, ” said Trudeau.

Later on, while he was fielding questions from reporters, Trudeau also hinted that responsibility for his own failures lied with the former Conservative government.

In response to a question on why his government refused to disclose top secret files on the firing of two federal scientists at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg believed to have shared classified information with China, Trudeau also suggested that he was dealt a bad hand by the Harper government.

“As a commitment we made in 2015, we moved forward something that the Conservatives had always resisted, oversight by parliamentarians over our national security agencies,” said Trudeau.

“And the National Security Committee of Parliamentarians actually works and we granted them full access to all of the highly secure documents.”

This is not the first time that Trudeau has evoked the memory of the Harper government to avoid answering simple questions.

While on the campaign trail, Trudeau referenced Harper on at least four different occasions ranging from topics on climate change, Afghanistan and the Liberal government’s inaction on lifting the gay blood ban.

Derek Sloan on why he's running as an independent in Banff—Airdrie

https://www.rebelnews.com/derek_sloan_on_why_hes_running_as_an_independent_in_banff_airdrie

Derek Sloan joined Ezra Levant and Sheila Gunn Reid live for an interview ahead of last night's English-language leaders' debate.

Independent MP Derek Sloan has shifted his campaign for re-election from his home in the Belleville, Ontario area to the riding of Banff—Airdrie in Alberta. The former leadership hopeful ran afoul of the Conservative Party establishment — likely in part for his views on the COVID-19 pandemic, along with his socially conservative beliefs. In January, Sloan was expelled from the party.

Derek Sloan joined Rebel News last night during live coverage for an opportunity to speak to Canadians ahead of the September 20 election.

On why he chose the Banff—Airdrie riding — while confirming that he is as an independent — Sloan explained how a large factor in his decision was to target Conservative MP Blake Richards. Richards, Sloan feels, is someone who is harming the Conservative Party behind the scenes and needs to be defeated.

Sloan also addressed whether he chose the riding because it was the most winnable, shared his thoughts on Erin O'Toole's campaign and what he's hearing from constituents about the Conservatives flip-flop on the gun ban.

Tariq Elnaga on the Maverick Party and Western representation

https://www.rebelnews.com/tariq_elnaga_on_the_maverick_party_and_western_representation

Maverick Party candidate Tariq Elnaga joined Ezra Levant and Sheila Gunn Reid live for an interview ahead of last night's English-language leaders' debate.

The Alberta constituency of Banff-Airdrie has been a Conservative stronghold since its first election in 2015, but with a new crop of political candidates entering the race, it is rapidly becoming a riding to watch.

Maverick Party candidate for Banff-Airdrie, Tariq Elnaga, joined Rebel News last night during live coverage for an opportunity to speak to Canadians ahead of the September 20 election.

Elnaga believes that his party's principled, Western-focused platform may resonate with many potential voters who feel alienated by the current political options. He discusses his party's goals and platform, the issues that are important to Western voters and why he feels that the Maverick Party can make a difference this election without splitting the conservative vote.

National Police Federation calls for more RCMP funding from next federal government

https://tnc.news/2021/09/11/national-police-federation-calls-for-more-rcmp-funding-from-next-federal-government/

The National Police Federation (NPF) is calling on the next federal government to increase funding for the RCMP after years of flatlining resources.

According to the NPF, which represents 20,000 RCMP officers across Canada, demand for police services has grown 20% since 2017, however, federal government support has failed to meet demands.

Despite the increasing pressure to meet expectations with limited funds, the RCMP has been able to curb rural crime in Alberta’s remote communities.

“When governments and the RCMP work together on local issues and resources, such as hiring more officers as was the case for the Crime Reduction Strategy, it creates a measurable improvement,” said NPA President Brian Sauvé.

“It all goes back to resources. The measures already in place were just a stepping stone. More investment is needed to address resource issues. Oftentimes Members are serving massive areas. For example, it can be a three-hour drive to respond to an emergency incident. Response times decrease with added resources.”

“One of the issues driving this proposed change is the notion that rural crime can be fixed with a better community model, but what’s needed is more resources. Improvements from the rural Crime Reduction Strategy makes that clear,” Sauvé added.

While on the campaign trail, the Conservatives have blasted the Trudeau government for failing to properly equip police with needed resources and ignoring issues important to voters in rural communities who are disproportionately impacted by crime.

“I asked the prime minister a question on rural crime and I got an answer that was a nothing answer. I challenged (Public Safety Minister) Bill Blair on rural crime… I’ve sent letters recently to the minister of agriculture on the drought conditions and the challenges to the ranchers,” said Conservative Candidate Gary Vidal in an August interview on the matter.

The Liberals have claimed that under the former conservative government police were underfunded and had to close investigations as a result of cuts.

Most recently, Liberal candidate Bill Blair falsely claimed that due to cuts, the RCMP had to close hundreds of organized crime investigations. A True North fact check found Blair’s statements to be untrue.

In reality, Public Safety Canada noted in 2013 that it had exceeded and met performance targets for that year and that crime rates actually fell under the Conservatives.

Canadians remember September 11, 2001

With all do respect to the victims and people everywhere it's hard to read this version.

https://tnc.news/2021/09/11/canadians-remember-september-11-2001/

Twenty years ago on this fateful day, the world was rocked by one of the evilest terror attacks perpetrated on Western soil.

September 11, 2001, began like any other ordinary morning in the heart of New York City.

Traffic was blaring through the busy streets of Lower Manhattan as throngs of people rushed to work and school children boarded their school buses.

Unbeknownst to them, a dozen kilometres above ground, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists were in the midst of hijacking four commercial airliners with the single goal of killing as many innocent Americans as possible.

Their intended targets were picked with the purpose of causing mass casualties and hitting the US where it hurt – the heart of its financial district, the World Trade Centre.

Nearly 3,000 innocent men, women and children including 24 Canadians lost their lives at the hands of Islamist terrorists that day.

At approximately 8:46 a.m. American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the World Trade Centre’s North Tower, killing everyone on board. Nearly 15 minutes later at 9:03 a.m. United Airlines Flight 175 dealt another devastating blow to South Tower.

On the ground, emergency services struggled to contain the situation and evacuate the remaining civilians from the two buildings as it was becoming clear to the world that America was under attack.

Tragic scenes broadcast on television depicted desperate people climbing out of windows to escape the inferno inside while others took the heart-wrenching decision to jump to their deaths below.

“Today, our fellow citizens, our way of live, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts,” Bush told the nation that evening.

Within less than two hours, structural damage and fires weakened both buildings causing them to collapse which also triggered the 7 World Trade Center building to give way.

Immediately, Canadians jumped into action.

Operation Yellow Ribbon commenced at Gander International Airport, allowing 38 different flights to divert their route and land in Newfoundland, Canada, with the intention of clearing US air space from any further threats.

The Canadian Armed Forces also launched Operation SUPPORT, housing and feeding stranded travellers at numerous bases located across Canada.

Meanwhile, Canadian pilots joined up with NORAD to provide emergency preparedness support to American pilots.

Despite the horrible destruction caused by the actions of a handful of terrorists, the full force of human compassion and charity blossomed after 9/11. Canadians, Americans and the international community arose from the ashes of that day with a bond that was greater than any that had gone before.

Purple Wave? People's Party leader Maxime Bernier on being excluded from leaders' debates

https://www.rebelnews.com/purple_wave_peoples_party_leader_maxime_bernier_on_being_excluded_from_leaders_debates

Maxime Bernier joins Ezra Levant and Sheila Gunn Reid to discuss the leaders' debates, his policies and the current wave of support his People's Party of Canada is experiencing.

A new poll from EKOS today shows that Maxime Bernier's People's Party of Canada is currently polling at 12 per cent nationally. Despite the current influx of support, something Bernier has been describing as a “purple wave,” his party was excluded from the debates hosted by the Leaders' Debates Commission.

Bernier, who is the only federal leader speaking out against vaccine mandates, passports and lockdowns, could have brought a different perspective on some of the most important issues as Canadians get set to head to the polls.

Instead, he, much like Rebel News prior to our victory in court, was excluded from that platform.

And so it was that Bernier joined our special debate livestream last night prior to the start of the event, where he gave his opinions on a number of policies that his party is pushing and what makes his party so different from the political offerings that were on display.

Study Finds Teenage Boys Six Times More Likely To Suffer Heart Problems From Vaccine Than Be Hospitalized by COVID

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/study-finds-teenage-boys-six-times-more-likely-suffer-heart-problems-vaccine-be

In a sane world, such data should represent the nail in the coffin for the argument that teenagers and children should be mandated to take the vaccine, but it obviously won’t…

Research conducted by the University of California has found that teenage boys are six times more likely to suffer from heart problems caused by the COVID-19 vaccine than to be hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 itself.

Wow.

“A team led by Dr Tracy Hoeg at the University of California investigated the rate of cardiac myocarditis – heart inflammation – and chest pain in children aged 12-17 following their second dose of the vaccine,” reports the Telegraph.

“They then compared this with the likelihood of children needing hospital treatment owing to Covid-19, at times of low, moderate and high rates of hospitalisation.”

Researchers found that the risk of heart complications for boys aged 12-15 following the vaccine was 162.2 per million, which was the highest out of all the groups they looked at.

Source

This compares to the risk of a healthy boy being hospitalized as a result of a COVID infection, which is around 26.7 per million, meaning the risk they face from the vaccine is 6.1 times higher.

Source

Even during high risk rates of COVID, such as in January this year, the threat posed by the vaccine is 4.3 times higher, while during low risk rates, the risk of teenage boys suffering a “cardiac adverse event” from the vaccine is a whopping 22.8 times higher.

The research data was based on a study of adverse reactions suffered by teens between January and June this year.

In a sane world, such data should represent the nail in the coffin for the argument that teenagers and children should be mandated to take the coronavirus vaccine, but it obviously won’t.

In the UK, the government is pushing to vaccinate 12-15-year-olds, even without parental consent, despite the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advising against it.

Meanwhile, in America, Los Angeles County school officials voted unanimously to mandate COVID shots for all children over 12 despite angry objections from parents.

Trudeau's Chances Of Winning Snap Election Dwindle As Conservatives Surge

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/trudeaus-chances-winning-snap-election-dwindle-conservatives-surge

On Sept. 20, Canadians will head to the polls for a snap federal election called by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in an effort to try and parlay his handling of the COVID pandemic into a four-year mandate. The plan was to strike while the iron's hot, so to speak.

Trudeau's primary motive is that since the last election in September, 2019, Trudeau has only commanded a minority in parliament, leaving him dependent on rival parties (mostly the left-leaning New Democrats) to govern. Trudeau argues the pandemic has changed Canada like WWIII changed Canada and the rest of the west, and that, due to this change, voters should now choose whom they want to call the shots going forward.

Unfortunately for Trudeau, the resurgence in COVID cases across North America over the past couple of months have left him vulnerable to the criticism that he placed the health of Canadians at risk in the name of "ambition." This take, along with Conservative leader Erin O'Toole's other criticisms of Trudeau, have apparently resonated with voters, leaving the Conservatives neck and neck with Trudeau's Liberals according to the latest polls, with early voting just about to begin.

The opposition Tories have 33% support compared with 31% for Trudeau’s Liberals and 19% for the left-leaning New Democratic Party, according to the latest Nanos Research Group survey. The Nanos survey, which was conducted for CTV News and the Globe and Mail newspaper, is based on a three-day rolling average and has a margin of error of 2.8%, according to Bloomberg.

If those numbers hold through the last 10 days of the campaign, Canada is facing another minority parliament in which the government needs the support of another party to pass legislation. Liberals could still win the most seats will losing the popular vote, like they did in 2019. Support for Trudeau has waned as the New Democratic Party has attracted more younger Canadians with more progressive politics.

During a Thursday night debate, Trudeau was attacked frm all sides. O’Toole, who simultaneously criticized the prime minister’s record on fighting climate change and his motivation for triggering the vote, accused Trudeau of having "Great Ambition."

O’Toole also hammered Trudeau over his failure to secure the release of two Canadian men who were arrested in China likely as political retribution for Canada's arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou at behest of the US. Trudeau replied with a memorable line: "you do not simply lob tomatoes across the Pacific" to illustrate his "delicate" approach to handling the situation with China.

Trudeau was perhaps shaken by a major loss earlier that day, when the Conservatives won what could be decisive support from the popular premier of Quebec, Canada's second most populous province. "For the Quebec nation, Mr. O’Toole's approach is a good one," Premier Francois Legault said, warning that victory for any other party could prove "dangerous" for provincial autonomy.

When Trudeau was first elected in 2015, he ended nearly a decade of conservative rule under PM Stephen Harper. At the time, pundits in the US, Canada and all over the English-speaking world praised Trudeau's win - despite his obvious inexperience and other flaws - as a generational shift. But Trudeau seems to finally have run out of steam barely halfway through. And in just a couple of weeks, Canada's voters might finally relegate the political scion to the scrap heap of history.

Top Container Ports In Asia Brace For Impact Of Powerful Typhoon

https://www.zerohedge.com/weather/major-container-ports-asia-brace-impact-powerful-chanthu

A powerful typhoon is expected to impact Taiwan and China this weekend. It may strain global supply chains even further due to the possibility of port disruptions and other logistical issues that would stem from storm damage.

Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau said Typhoon Chanthu is north of the Philippines Friday as it closes in on Taiwan and the Chinese coast. In the path of the storm are major containerized ports and factories. The intensity of the storm is a significant concern.

The storm is rated as a category four typhoon, one level below a super typhoon, with maximum sustained winds of around 130 mph and gusts up to 160 mph. Taiwan is expected to feel the brunt of the storm late Saturday, then China on Sunday.

In focus, we begin with Taiwan's globally important ports and semiconductor factories, along with other manufacturing plants that could be in the path of the typhoon. Across the Taiwan Strait, some of the largest Chinese containerized ports are preparing for severe weather.

"The likelihood that this typhoon will reach super typhoon category is not ruled out," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its Friday evening bulletin.

China's Maritime Safety Administration posted a warning late Thursday for Fujian province's Xiamen Port, one of the main ports for trans-Pacific shipping. The port has requested vessels to avoid the area. The Ningbo Maritime Safety Administration, which covers Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, one of the world's busiest containerized ports in cargo tonnage, has also issued warnings to vessels.

Ningbo was in the news not too long ago for closing one of its terminals due to a COVID-19 case. The closure disrupted supply chains and caused congestion issues at surrounding ports.

Ports across Asia have been bottlenecks for global trade. The impact of Chanthu could shut down or damage top ports in the region that would strain supply chains even more. This would be devastating considering exporters have entered peak shipping season to fulfill holiday orders for North America.

Facebook Pairs With Ray-Ban To Launch Smart Glasses, Sparking Privacy Concerns

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/facebook-pairs-ray-ban-launch-smart-glasses-sparking-privacy-concerns

Facebook has teamed up with Ray-Ban to launch a pair of smart glasses that the social media giant says are “designed with privacy in mind,” though the product is already sparking privacy concerns.

The glasses, which were created in partnership with Ray-Ban maker EssilorLuxottica, allow wearers to listen to music, take calls, or capture photos and short videos and share them across Facebook’s services using a companion app, the company announced in a Sept. 10 release.

Facebook insists that the spectacles, called “Ray-Ban Stories,” were designed with privacy in mind.

“As with any new device, we have a big responsibility to help people feel comfortable and provide peace of mind, and that goes not only for device owners but the people around them, too. That’s why we baked privacy directly into the product design and functionality of the full experience, from the start,” the company said in the release, which features a video of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussing some of the product’s features.

Zuckerberg touted hardware protections like a power switch to turn off the mic and camera, along with a light meant to alert people that the glasses are in capture mode.

“We put this LED light on the front of the glasses so that people around you will know when you’re taking a photo or video,” Zuckerberg said in the recording. “It lights up to let people know that the camera is on.”

In remarks to Axios, Jeremy Greenberg, privacy counsel for the Future of Privacy Forum, praised the idea of an indicator like the LED light but noted it was hard to spot from a distance or by people with low vision.

“Hopefully we don’t have folks using these for stalking,” Greenberg told the outlet.

Zuckerberg insisted in the presentation video that when the glasses are turned off, “they are completely off.”

“The mic is off and you can’t take photos or record videos,” the Facebook chief added.

Facebook told The Wall Street Journal that it had reached out to privacy groups and experts like the National Consumers League regarding the product’s design. John Breyault, vice president for the National Consumers League, said his organization recommended an automatic disable function for the camera when the light was covered, or modifying the design to distinguish them from regular Ray-Bans to make it easier for people who don’t want to be recorded to spot them and raise objections.

“Unfortunately, those features weren’t included in this first iteration of these smart glasses,” Breyault told the outlet.

Facebook, which reported revenue of about $86 billion in 2020, makes most of its money from advertising but has invested heavily in virtual and augmented reality, developing hardware such as its Oculus VR headsets and working on wristband technologies to support augmented reality glasses.

Major tech firms including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Snap have raced to develop various smart glasses products, but early offerings like Google Glass proved difficult to sell to consumers put off by high price points and design issues.

Facebook, which has in the past faced criticism over its handling of user data, said it would not access the media used by its smart-glasses customers without their consent.

The company also said it would not use the content of the photos or videos captured using the glasses and stored in the Facebook View app for personalizing ads, and said the glasses would be an “ads-free experience.”

Facebook has also launched a privacy-focused micro-site where it offers guidelines for responsible use of the smart glasses.

Total Insanity: Dutch Cabinet Plans to Take Farms from Farmers to “Combat Global Warming”

https://tapnewswire.com/2021/09/total-insanity-dutch-cabinet-plans-to-take-farms-from-farmers-to-combat-global-warming/

ER Editor: Insanity and Utter Tyranny. Nitrogen emissions – because, you know, global warming – are the continuing excuse for the Dutch government to simply acquire land from farmers, whether by purchase or outright theft. And to reduce the number of livestock the Netherlands produces. In favour of eating those insects the EU has been promoting?

A story from almost 2 years ago shows Dutch farmers protesting harsh nitrogen regulations (pictured below), regulations which arbitrarily punished them for, say, having too many animals, and pitting one sector of the economy against another. See Thousands of Dutch farmers return to roads in protest. This Politico article also from 2019 shows that farmers have borne the brunt of government arbitrariness over nitrogen emissions for over 20 years, and have been painted as ‘animal abusers and environmental polluters’ in the process.

Now we know where all this was heading – just grab the land by force if you have to.

Total Insanity: Dutch Cabinet Plans to Take Farms from Farmers to “Combat Global Warming”

“Coercion is no longer taboo”

ICE AGE FARMER

***

“The Ministries of Finance and Agriculture have advanced plans to buy out hundreds of farmers and, if necessary, expropriate them, in order to quickly reduce nitrogen emissions in the Netherlands.

This is apparent from documents that have been viewed by NRC. The cost of this operation could amount to 17 billion euros. The plans point to a rigorously different approach, in which coercion is no longer taboo.

“The other scenario, from the Ministry of Agriculture, is even more ambitious and foresees a major transformation of the Dutch agricultural sector. The government is also buying the land from the farmers, which can then be used for more sustainable forms of agriculture: fewer animals [IAF: moving to WEF’s “post-animal economy”], less environmental pollution. That costs a lot of money: up to 17 billion.”

BioNTech seeks approval for infant COVID jabs by end of 2021, children age 5 and up this month

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/739975/

The German biotech company that manufactured a COVID-19 shot with Pfizer will seek to get needles in the arms of kids ages 5 to 11 this month and infants/toddlers ages six months to two years old before the end of the year.

LifeSiteNews has produced an extensive COVID-19 vaccines resources page. View it here.

(LifeSiteNews) — Infants as young as six months old may soon be eligible for the abortion-tainted COVID-19 shot if BioNTech receives approval for the jab it developed in collaboration with Pfizer.

Just weeks after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the two-dose mRNA Pfizer/BioNTech shot for all Americans age 16 and up, the two top executives of German biotechnology company BioNTech announced that they are seeking approval of the drugs from global regulators for use in children age five and up in the next several weeks.

This comes in spite of the fact that the Pfizer jab has still not been fully approved for children ages 12 to 15, for which it still maintains an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

As reported by Reuters on Friday, “BioNTech has said it expected to file its regulatory dossier on the five- to 11-year-olds in September. It has also laid out plans to seek approval in children aged 6 months to two years later this year.”

It is unclear why the three- to four-year-old age group appears to have been left out of the calculation.

“Already over the next few weeks we will file the results of our trial in five- to 11-year-olds with regulators across the world and will request approval of the vaccine in this age group, also here in Europe,” BioNTech Chief Medical Officer Oezlem Tuereci said.

The biotech company is angling to get the green-light to launch the jab for young children by October, and younger age groups before the end of the year.

Pfizer is not alone in seeking to widen its demographic net for COVID-19 shots.

As reported by Reuters, fellow mRNA COVID-19 shot producer Moderna announced Thursday that it is testing its jabs for children age six to 11 and working on another study in which parents have volunteered infants as young as six months old to participate in the testing of the drug.

The news comes as Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna were forced to add a risk of heart inflammation to the fact sheets for their COVID-19 drugs in June, in response to 1,200 reported cases of myocarditis or pericarditis after vaccination, a large percentage of which were reported in young males under age 30.

A University of California-led study published Wednesday, which has not yet undergone peer review, found that for teenage boys the risk of myocarditis after getting a COVID shot was far higher than the risk posed by contracting COVID-19.

As summarized by The Spectator, “[o]ver a 120-day period, the study found that boys between 12 and 15 had a risk of cardiac issues that was four to six times as high as the risk of being hospitalized with Covid-19.”

While vaccination has been shown to cause some severe reactions in children and young adults, COVID-19 itself has been consistently shown to have a statistically minor impact on young children, with risks associated with the virus consistent with typical risk from standard flu strains.

Some data have indicated that COVID-19 may actually be milder for children than the seasonal flu.

A June study found that “COVID-19 disease has a milder clinical and laboratory course than Influenza in children.”

Additionally, it is likely that many children have already contracted COVID-19 over the past year and a half and developed natural immunity.

Peter Doshi, Ph.D., associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and senior editor of The British Medical Journal, cited data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which, as of June 10, showed that 23% of 0- to 4-year-olds and 42% of 5- to 17-year-olds already have robust natural immunity from having contracted and recovered from COVID-19 without having gotten the injection. Hungary’s Orban: 9/11 Proved ‘Christian Civilization Is Something We Must Fight for Every Day’

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2021/09/11/hungarys-orban-9-11-proved-christian-civilization-something-we-must-fight-every-day/

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán marked the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks by saying that it proved “Christian civilisation” must be defended at all times, and vowing to stop mass migration from facilitating further terror.

“Two decades after the terrorist attacks in New York, it is still with a heavy heart that we remember the thousands of innocent victims. September 11, 2001, proved that the peace and security of Christian civilization is something we must fight for every day,” said the national conservative leader in a statement received by Breitbart London.

Orban

NEW YORK, NY – OCTOBER 4: This undated photo of two metal beams (L) forming a cross rises out of the destruction at the World Trade Center was made available in New York 04 October 2001. The cast iron “cross,” which fell intact from Tower One into nearby Building Six, was blessed 04 October 2001 by Rev. Brian Jordan, a Franciscan priest, as rescue workers who have adopted it as a symbol of faith gathered around to watch. (Photo credit should read AFP/AFP via Getty Images)

“After these sad events 20 years ago, Hungary was one of the first countries in Europe to take on a role in the fight against terrorism, and we supported our allies in NATO operations to the best of our ability,” he continued, recalling that “The 2015 European migration crisis brought terror to Europe as well” and noting that “now, what is happening in Afghanistan is again a cause for concern for us all. The security threat level is rising, and instability in the region poses significant risks to Europe.”

Prime Minister Orbán, who masterminded the construction of a highly effective border barrier at the onset of the 2015 migrant crisis, pledged that, for its part, “Hungary will defend Europe’s borders,” adding that “We are working to ensure that what happened in New York 20 years ago never happens again.”

The Hungarian leader struck a markedly different tone to Britain’s Boris Johnson, who did not reference the terror threat posed by a migrant exodus from Afghanistan and instead made the somewhat odd claim that “Recent events in Afghanistan” — i.e the Joe Biden-led and badly botched withdrawal from the country — “only strengthen our determination to remember those who were taken from us, cherish the survivors and those who still grieve and hold fast to our belief in liberty and democracy, which will always prevail over every foe.”

Prime Minister Johnson also declined to characterise the radical Islamic terrorist attacks on September 11th as an assault on “Christian civilisation”, as his Hungarian counterpart did, instead opting to describe them as an attempt to “destroy the faith of free peoples everywhere in the open societies which terrorists despise and which we cherish.”

One Christian landmark was indeed destroyed by the 9/11 terrorists, however — namely the St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in New York, which was smashed beneath the South Tower of the World Trade Center as it collapsed.

A much grander replacement for St Nicholas is only now ready to be reopened. It will also serve as a National Shrine to 9/11 victims.

Adam survived 9/11, but now he faces likely an even greater attack on humanity by they/them/those. The plandemic which has brought billions to their knees and made zombies out of our own family members.

On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Adam walks us through his experience on 9/11 and what lead us to what we're witnessing today as we're surrounded by complacent people in fear of an invisible enemy.

From one false flag to another, this video breaks down the path we have all allowed ourselves to be lead down whether we're awake or not. The question is, what are we going to do about it?

Our individual freedoms are few to none at this point. Will each of us stand up in this, the most polarized and frightening period of not just our generation, but our century?

"My heart really breaks for the kids": Calgary teacher Russell Hillier speaks with Sheila Gunn Reid

https://www.rebelnews.com/_my_heart_really_breaks_for_the_kids_calgary_teacher_russell_hillier_speaks_with_sheila_gunn_reid

On a recent edition of The Gunn Show, Sheila Gunn Reid was joined by Russell Hillier, a Calgary-area educator (and son of Ontario MPP Randy Hillier) to discuss a new teacher-led petition against mandatory masks in Alberta schools.

Discussing the damage that forced masking has on children, Russell explains:

"My heart breaks for the kids who are already disadvantaged, and I'm thinking about kids that have speech delays, speech impediments, some kind of learning disability, ESL students— those kids are being left behind and nobody cares about them. I hear a lot of parents say, "oh, well my kid is fine in a mask all day." Well great! How fortunate are you, while there's a lot of parents who cannot say the same thing. So one of my motivations is to just give a voice to those parents who, maybe they do have a student with some kind of learning disability… and tell them that theres a lot of teachers that are with you."

Justin Trudeau too cowardly to answer questions from Rebel News

https://www.rebelnews.com/_my_heart_really_breaks_for_the_kids_calgary_teacher_russell_hillier_speaks_with_sheila_gunn_reid

Prime Minister Trudeau deflected and disparaged Rebel News when asked fair questions by our journalists.

For two consecutive nights, debates were hosted by the Leaders' Debates Commission — the same one that was defeated in federal court for barring access to Rebel News — between incumbent Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his challengers, Erin O'Toole, Jagmeet Singh, Yves-Francois Blanchet and Annamie Paul (while People's Party leader Maxime Bernier was excluded).

Rebel News journalists were able to ask questions of the federal leaders in the post-debate media scrums, but most leaders were either too cowardly to answer our questions or deflected and disparaged Rebel News— like self-proclaimed feminist Justin Trudeau did to two of our accomplished female journalists.

On yesterday's Rebel News DAILY Livestream, Ezra Levant discussed the debates and how our federal leaders responded to the questions put to them by Rebel News.

Discussing Trudeau's attack on Rebel News, Ezra said:

The day earlier, the Prime Minister said, "you Rebel News types are liars, you're misinformation, you're spreading misinformation, you're polarizing the country, I don't like you." Now that's actually not true, we don't publish fake news, we've never been accused of that by any social media platform, we've never had anything taken down because its fake news… on the other hand, Trudeau's campaign was tagged by Twitter for manipulating facts, for manipulating the truths and twisting them— so its a bit of a 'pot calling the kettle black' situation."

Canadian Schools Hold Book-Burning Demonstration To Be A More "Inclusive Country"

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/canadian-schools-hold-book-burning-demonstration-be-more-inclusive-country

We recently discussed how many on the left have discovered the allure of book burning, book banning, and blacklisting of authors.

While expressing shock at ISIS and other extremist groups burning books, the practice appears acceptable based on the titles or content.

Now educators in Ontario have held a “flame purification ceremony” for the local indigenous population by burning roughly 5,000 books.

The notion of teachers burning books is almost as bizarre as the thought of book sellers embracing blacklisting but both are now part of the realities of our age of rage. These school officials actually videotaped the celebration of book burning for students at 30 schools with the announcement that:

“We bury the ashes of racism, discrimination and stereotypes in the hope that we will grow up in an inclusive country where all can live in prosperity and security.”

The announcement even has a type of Maoist cultural revolution feel to it. In addition, Lyne Cosette, a spokeswoman for the public French-speaking Catholic schools of Ontario, told the National Post newspaper, “Symbolically, some books were used as fertilizer.”

The entire demonstration was a disgrace to educators everywhere. The lesson of book burning left with these children will likely be indelible and lasting. I have worried about the rise of a generation of censors but the Catholic schools of Ontario appear intent on raising a generation of book burners.

What is truly chilling is the Orwellian call for children to burn books in order to be a more “inclusive country.”

The Lancet letter published in March 2020 called claims that Covid-19 originated in lab ‘conspiracy theories’

It was signed by 27 scientists from across the globe working in virology and other medical science fields

The widely-read letter effectively ended all debate about origins of the global coronavirus pandemic

Investigation by The Telegraph has found 26 out of 27 had connections to China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology

Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab, 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed.

On March 7 last year, the influential journal published the letter in which the 27 scientists said they ‘strongly condemned conspiracy theories’ surrounding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has impacted all corners of the world.

All debate into whether Covid-19 had man-made origins or leaked from the lab in Wuhan – the Chinese city that was ground-zero for the virus – was effectively shut down by the letter.

However, an investigation by The Daily Telegraph newspaper into the signatories has found that 26 of the 27 had some link to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the leak was suspected – calling into question their impartiality.

Signatories include Dr Peter Daszak, the British president of EcoHealth Alliance, which funnelled money into controversial research at a Wuhan Institute of Virology, and UK Government scientific adviser Sir Jeremy Farrar.

Only one – Dr Ronald Corley, a microbiology expert from Boston University – has been found to have no links back to funders or researchers at the Wuhan institute.

Below, the MailOnline looks at those signatories named by The Telegraph’s investigation – and other key figures and organisations – to have links with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

WATCH: Trudeau Stresses ‘Islamophobia’, Impact on Muslims of 9/11

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2021/09/11/watch-trudeau-stresses-islamophobia-impact-muslims-of-9-11/

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau chose to stress the impact of 9/11 on Muslims and call for people to stand against “Islamophobia”, rather than radical Islam, on the 20th anniversary of the attacks.

Having called a snap election off the back of encouraging polling — which currently appears to have been a mistake — the Canadian leftist made the comments while on the campaign trail in Mississauga, Ontario, saying he wanted to kick off by “making a note” of the 9/11 anniversary after first thanking his local team.

“I was teaching in Vancouver that morning,” recalled the former substitute teacher, saying he remembered “talking to my Grade 9 students all that day and every subsequent class about what this means for the future, what that meant for the present, and I think, 20 years gone, we need to reflect on that day; on the thousands of people lost, including 24 Canadians; on the first responders, including a number of Canadians who showed up in the days and weeks afterwards to help, who rushed into danger while others were fleeing for their lives.”

Trudeau also paid tribute to “Canadians who stepped up for each other; people in Newfoundland who, even as they are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Larry, will think back to 20 years ago with well-earned pride in having welcomed thousands upon thousands of travellers… into [their] homes, as thousands of Canadians did from Halifax to Vancouver” — a reference to those who took in travellers diverted from their intended destination in the chaos that followed the strikes on New York and the Pentagon.

He then went on to say that “I can’t help, on this anniversary, to reflect on Muslim Canadians, for whom things also changed on September 11th as attitudes shifted, and that reminds us that over these past years and continuing today into the future, we all need to stand together against intolerance, hatred, racism, and Islamophobia.”

The Liberal Party of Canada leader made no other reference to Muslims or Islam in connection with 9/11 in his remarks, and did not follow his call to stand against Islamophobia with a call to stand against jihadism and radical Islam, which have continued to claim lives in the United States, Europe, and British Commonwealth states including Canada since the 2001 attacks.

Liberals endorsed by group that supports home sales tax

https://tnc.news/2021/09/11/liberals-endorsed-by-group-that-supports-home-sales-tax/

The Liberal Party of Canada has received an endorsement from Generation Squeeze, an organization that has called for a home sales tax.

In a statement issued by the Conservative Party of Canada, the Conservative candidate for Carleton Pierre Poilievre said he isn’t surprised by Generation Squeeze’s endorsement of the Liberals.

“Given Generation Squeeze’s support for a home tax, it’s no wonder the organization has endorsed Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada,” said Poilievre.

“Generation Squeeze is a vocal advocate for taxing Canadians’ homes. In fact, this organization was asked by the Trudeau government to research how best to tax the sale of Canadians’ principal residences.”

Generation Squeeze gave the Liberals the highest score on their housing affordability scorecard released on Wednesday. No party received a perfect score, but the Liberals were the closest to meeting this organization’s goal of ensuring all Canadians can afford a decent home by 2030.

The organization’s guiding principles consist of adequate housing being a human right, homes first, investments second and making room for everyone.

Party platforms were analyzed based on 15 criteria. Parties were assigned points based on their platform’s response to each of these criteria. Scores range from +1 to -1. Parties could receive up to 16 points with their plans for housing affordability. The Liberals earned 10.5 points

Generation Squeeze has called for the government to raise taxes on property wealth, as they claim it will lead to more affordable housing. They believe the tax increase can be done through higher annual property taxation, deferrable surtaxes or capital gains taxes.

The Liberals have not promised to implement a home sales tax, but the Conservatives believe Trudeau cannot be trusted.

On Thursday, the Liberal candidate for New Brunswick Southwest Jason Hickey admitted the party may tax people who are selling their homes if Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is re-elected on Sept. 20.

The Conservatives posted a video of Hickey speaking about a potential home sales tax on Thursday.

“But of course, anyone selling their primary residence, if you do make money on that, unfortunately you will have to pay tax on that,” said Hickey. “I wouldn’t agree to that either, but it’s what we have to do.”

Outgoing Alberta Conservative MP David Yurdiga formally endorsing PPC candidate

https://tnc.news/2021/09/12/outgoing-alberta-conservative-mp-david-yurdiga-formally-endorsing-ppc-candidate/

A former Conservative member of parliament who resigned as the Conservative candidate less than a day before the campaign started is set to endorse the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), True North has learned.

David Yurdiga, a three-term Conservative MP in Fort McMurray—Cold Lake, is throwing his support behind his riding’s PPC candidate, Shawn McDonald.

Yurdiga is scheduled to meet with McDonald and PPC leader Maxime Bernier in Cold Lake, Alta. Monday afternoon.

McDonald told True North this is a huge endorsement for his campaign and the PPC.

“We’re the true conservatives. We’re bringing people home,” McDonald said, noting Yurdiga is likely to bring over traditionally Conservative voters. “People listen to David. He’s a good man. He really supported the area for many years. He did very good in that, and people really value his work.”

Conservative party officials said Yurdiga’s resignation as the Conservative candidate was due to health concerns, though the decision came amid controversy over Yurdiga calling vaccine mandates “tyrannical.”

Yurdiga was swiftly replaced by Laila Goodridge, who stepped down from the Alberta Legislature to seek the federal seat.

A PPC source told True North almost all of the members of the federal Conservative and provincial United Conservative Party association boards in the riding have switched their support to the PPC.

Earlier in the campaign, Yurdiga shared a photo with McDonald to Facebook, acknowledging McDonald had thanked him for his service as an MP. He stopped short of formally endorsing the PPC in the post, however.

In a statement to the Buffalo Tribune about the photo, Yurdiga cryptically said the election was “not about Ottawa politics,” but rather “the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the constitution,” citing his opposition to vaccine mandates and vaccine passports.

In 2019, Yurdiga carried the riding with just shy of 80% of the vote, with the PPC candidate getting 3.3%. However, 2021 campaign polling reveals a significantly stronger showing for the upstart People’s party this time around, particularly in Alberta. An Ekos poll this week had the PPC in second place in Alberta with 19%, though the same poll had the Conservatives at 52%.

Yurdiga was first elected in a 2014 by-election in the former Fort McMurray—Athabasca, replacing Brian Jean, who went on to lead the now-defunct Wildrose Party in Alberta.

SHOCKING: BOOK BURNINGS IN CANADA! - TYRANTS ARE SEIZING CONTROL AS CHILDREN ARE INDOCTRINATED!

World Alternative Media, 22 min.

https://www.bitchute.com/video/QlyMwJ3DUDWw/

Josh Sigurdson reports on the recent news of around 5,000 books being burned for the sake of so-called "tolerance" in Canada by public schools. Yes, we're serious.

News recently broke of 5,000 books being burnt by public schools in Canada for the sake of "reconciliation" and that these "reconciliation book burnings" would help bring about equality for Native Americans.

Obviously, anyone with a working brain understands that deleting history does not help us learn about the negative parts of history and does quite the opposite, but we live in a time of aggressive Orwellian doublespeak.

While schools burn books and teach kids to support communism, independent media is censored on a vast scale and the leaders of most Canadian parties running for office are walking hand in hand openly exposing the fact that they all work for the same masters.

We've documented metaphorical and physical book burnings in Canada as Trudeau announced "approve medias" a couple of years ago, bailed out the failing mainstream medias and imprisoned opponents. We were there in 2017 when we were thrown out of a press conference and physically attacked for asking Trudeau a question that his team did not approve.

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh refuses to answer questions from any of Rebel's female journalists

https://www.rebelnews.com/ndp_leader_jagmeet_singh_refuses_to_answer_questions_from_any_of_rebel_s_female_journalists

Following not one, but two victories over the Leaders' Debates Commission, Rebel News was granted access for 11 of our journalists to ask questions following the two debates sanctioned by the commission.

Despite being the courts recognizing Rebel News and allowing us access to the debates, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh won't answer our questions.

He says he respects women but when any of our female reporters try to ask him questions he does not answer.

Our reporters are representing millions of Canadians who deserve answers and respect from our politicians.

We want to talk about the issues the other media won’t.

Because if we don’t talk about freedom, about ending the lockdowns, about protecting our civil liberties and our medical privacy, who will?

Maxime Bernier honoured by local chief after Indigenous platform announcement

https://tnc.news/2021/09/12/maxime-bernier-honoured-by-local-chief-after-indigenous-platform-announcement/

People’s Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier’s message of freedom was endorsed by an Edmonton First Nations chief.

Papaschase First Nation Chief Calvin Bruneau said the PPC’s Indigenous platform is “on the right track,” particularly with Bernier’s commitment to abolish the Indian Act and address the drinking water crisis on reserves.

Bruneau also noted that Indigenous Canadians and non-Indigenous Canadians alike should be “working together” in pursuit of liberty.

“We lost our freedoms over the years,” Bruneau said. “We’ve been living this for a good 150 years. And Canada in general, has only been experiencing that the last year. It’s something we definitely know something about. With this idea of having freedoms and freedom of choice, especially, that’s what we’ve got to do.”

At a Saturday afternoon press conference in Edmonton, Bruneau presented Bernier with a ceremonial blanket he said represents “health and wellness and good intentions.”

“According to treaty, we’re to be working together and sharing this land,” Bruneau said.

Bernier hosted the press conference alongside four Indigenous PPC candidates in the upcoming election, one of whom, Murray MacKinnon, is a member of Bruneau’s band.

“A PPC government is committed to seeking options to replace the paternalistic Indian Act, which keeps Indigenous peoples in a state of dependency and allows the federal government to control most aspects of their lives,” Bernier said Saturday, proposing a model that would “guarantee equal rights and responsibilities” to promote “self-reliance of communities.”

Bernier committed to ensuring Indigenous communities can benefit from resource and infrastructure projects, but said the real barrier to economic prosperity on many reserves is a lack of property rights.

“There’s not only natural resources. There are other resources also. There are entrepreneurs on reserves that are building businesses,” Bernier said. “It’s about giving them the opportunity to have real economic development by having the right policies. It’s not a top-down approach from Ottawa to the First Nation, and there’s a lot of other First Nations that don’t have any natural resources but are very successful.”

Bernier restated his party’s commitment to instilling property rights on reserves.

Bruneau said this idea can be controversial, but would ultimately be helpful.

“There are a lot of people that are opposed to it, but the thing is, if it could work on a reserve and people can own their land pretty much in perpetuity, I think that would help,” he said.

Why is there a surge of support for the PPC?

https://tnc.news/2021/09/12/why-is-there-a-surge-of-support-for-the-ppc/

The People’s Party of Canada is currently seeing a surge of support across the country, leading the Greens and the Bloc in many polls. But why is this happening?

One reason might be because PPC leader Maxime Bernier is the only federal leader to oppose the stringent public health measures during the pandemic. He’s an appealing option to many Canadians who oppose lockdowns.

Anthony Furey discusses in his latest video.

Canada Announces Plan To Merge With Communist China Social Credit Score

https://truth11.com/2021/09/12/canada-announces-plan-to-merge-with-communist-china-social-credit-score/

he Canadian government declared businesses must prepare to merge with Communist China’s corporate Orwellian social credit score system.

The government of Canada has issued guidance in April 2020 for businesses to prepare to adapt to China’s Corporate Social Credit System (CSCS), an offshoot of its social credit score program for individuals.

The government website explains:

China developed the Corporate Social Credit System (CSCS) to ensure corporate compliance and improve behaviour of companies doing business in China. It is part of the People’s Republic of China’s plan to build a single, standardized reputation system for local and foreign firms alike.

The system touches on virtually all aspects of a company’s business operations in China. It assesses the performance and demeanor of companies, by analyzing topic-specific ratings (e.g. tax, customs and environmental protection) and compliance records (e.g. on anti-monopoly cases, data transfers, pricing and licenses).

The automated system collects data, processes and rates it against the defined requirements. Based on their rating, Chinese authorities will reward businesses with “good” and sanction those with “bad” behaviour.

The guidance states that Canadian businesses will be measured in accordance with China’s CSCS, which will include tracking of all of its activities in the communist country.

“Every company should expect the CSCS to track all of their activities and operations in China. Businesses will face intensified scrutiny of their day-to-day operations once China fully implements the system,” the website notes.

Canadian companies will also receive rewards or face punitive action depending on how they uphold the standards dictated by China.

Business could face not just fees and audits for failing to meet China’s corporate standards, but also “public blaming and shaming” and being blacklisted from the communist nation:

In contrast, if the Canadian companies acquiesce to China’s standards, they could receive lower tax rates and expedited processing through Chinese customs.

The government admits that following China’s CSCS system will be “challenging” for companies due to the country’s strict top-down social credit score infrastructure that even relies on third parties to determine the behavior of a corporation.

“Complying with the system’s regulatory requirements will be challenging for companies. This is mainly due to the strictness, comprehensiveness, intricacy and crosscutting interdependence of the ratings. The self-enforcing nature of the CSCS will also create strategic challenges,” the guidance states.

“For example, the system makes firms accountable to the behaviour of business partners along the supply chain. This will expose them to risk of non-compliance due to actions of third parties. This might be challenging for SMEs that lack a robust corporate compliance infrastructure.”

In other words, Canadian companies’ burdens aren’t just to create quality products or services, but doing so under the strict regulations of the Chinese Communist Party.

Such a draconian move by Canada is unsurprising given its Prime Minister Justin Trudeau praised Communist China for its top-down dictatorial model.

In 2013, Trudeau said: “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say, ‘We need to go green…we need to start investing in solar.’”

Episode 407 – False Flags: The Secret History of Al Qaeda — Part 1: Origin Story

https://www.corbettreport.com/episode-407-false-flags-the-secret-history-of-al-qaeda-part-1-origin-story/

We all know the story of bin Laden and Al Qaeda, the story that was repeated ad nauseam in the days, weeks and months after the catastrophic, catalyzing events of 9/11. So often was that story repeated that the hypnotized public forgot that it was, at base, just that: a story. . . .
