The nicotine in cigarette smoke might be a bit protective. The FDA is trying to get rid of menthol cigarettes because that is also a bit protective.
Flu shots are known to increase coronavirus risk according to a DoD study.
Take a look at bromelain and quercetin, perhaps. There are a lot of on line resources for researching preventive protocols and I've seen these two show up pretty frequently. Quercetin is a zinc ionophore, I believe that might help you (I'd guess you might also take some zinc, too). Bromelain, is what folks who are around vaccinated take to help protect them (in pineapple cores, too), but it also helps with digestion and arthritis. I have some pain in my foot from long hours on a concrete floor (early arthritis?) I noticed some improvement after starting the bromelain.
I don't know about pharmaceuticals such as metoprolol, but if you start supplements often you need to find out if they interact with meds.
Dr. Zelenko has some information on prevention that is pretty aggressive and comprehensive. He does have some recommended supplements, I think.
