Controlling information is paramount to controlling the people. When you take control of another country, other than going after military targets, what's the other main targets? TV and radio stations. Why is that? Control of information leads to control of the people.
J.R.R. Tolkien sort of personifies MSM/propaganda in this passage about Saruman.
"Suddenly another voice spoke, low and melodious, its very sound an enchantment. Those who listened unwearily to that voice could seldom report the words that they had heard; and if they did, they wondered, for little power remained in them. Mostly they remembered only that it was a delight to hear the voice speaking, all that it said seemed wise and reasonable, and desire awoke in them by swift agreement to see wise themselves. When others spoke, they seemed harsh and uncouth by contrast; and if they gainsaid the voice, anger was kindled in the hearts of those under the spell."
Interesting, when I went looking for the above text, right below it was another quote that I had forgotten about but applies to our situation so perfectly:
" 'In the language of Orthanc, help means ruin, and saving means slaying, that is plain.' " Perfect description of the cabals reverse tactics.
" 'You are a liar, Saruman, and a corrupter of men's hearts. You hold out your hand to me, and I perceive only a finger of the claw of Mordor. Cruel and cold! […] what will you say of your torches in Westfold and the children that lie dead there?' "
The MSM is probably their most powerful tool but it's power is waning. I think that's what Q means when he says they fear the people waking up. Waking up to the voice of Saruman and realizing that WE have the real power, and that most of the information it tells us, are self serving lies
