Jesus was talking about the "ecclesia" which is a body of people not a manmade, religious institution like the Roman Catholic Church which has the Pope as its head. The head of the "ecclesia" is Jesus Himself. The "ecclesia" may be found throughout all denominations of Christianity and are known only to God as only He knows thge heart of a man and who are His elect.
