"Governor Jim Justice [WV] said he opposes the Biden Administration’s newly-announced plans to fight the covid-19 pandemic, particularly a federal push for vaccinations through employers.

“I don’t think that’s going to go into effect. I hope and pray that it’s not,” Justice said today, characterizing the plans as federal overreach and suggesting the announcement was made to change the national conversation from chaos in Afghanistan. The governor, whose family owns a sprawling business organization, said he objects to government telling business what to do. He leveled that criticism not only at the Biden administration’s plans but also at some Republicans in the state Legislature who favor a proposal that would prevent medical facilities from making their own choice to require vaccinations. Speaking of the possible state bill placing restrictions on vaccination requirements by businesses, the governor said “I would not support that type of legislation. We’re talking about intervening in businesses’ business. We’re talking about putting a mandate on that a private business couldn’t decide on their own what they wanted to do."

Psaki simply says: "That's correct", when it's mentioned by reporter that citizens are being required to be vaccinated to work, but not illegal aliens.

OSHA could not be enforcing this without the 'Emergency Temporary Standard', just put in place a few months ago. Psaki likes to point to the creation of OSHA in 1970 as if they have always had this power.

Last question was by reporter asking if OSHA requiring vaccines for American workers is a 'work around'. Psaki said no. The question was meant to point to Ron Klain's retweet confirming that it is indeed a 'work around' federal law. Psaki left quickly, knowing the second question would be about Klain. They have already lost.
