Unless a child is involved, perhaps they (if adult) should have been with anon?
Who will be there, unselfishly, when somebody (and our Country) need them most? Who will look away from their phone & TV long enough to even notice?
How many of us already realize that the people who have grown yet even more alienated were never really there to begin with because they have been glued to their precious phones, TVs, and shopping. These three things are always priortized above people until it's finally convenient to bother with someone; Those mini-breaks between phones, tv & shopping need some filler sometime.
