Anon was raised in a culture which was steeped in iron-clad traditions of respect for the dead, whether the dead had been a "good" or "bad" person in life, so I mean no disrespect towards those who died on this day with what I am about to say:
I honestly do not understand 9/11 Remembrance Day. It's like holding a loved one's funeral over and over again on the date of their death. Re-traumatizing already traumatized people. I do remember every 9/11, and what happened that day, and I pray for the families of those lost, I just don't understand putting them through it every year.
In regards to this 9/11, I absolutely refuse to give George Herbert Walker Bush one iota of time. What a slap in the face to the victims. Like having Hitler conduct the service for all who died in WWII.
