Anon, getting a job depends on your skills, certs or degrees and experience. If you have technical skills but no certs shoot for an entry level desktop support role. If you do not have technical skills or certs and like to build, go to a contractor and tell him you want to start as a 'go-fer' on his crew. Many contractors very busy because of housing boom. If that doesn't fit go to a warehouse and get into shipping. Loading pallets, loading trucks, etc. If you like to drive look for a local driver position for auto parts deliveries, etc. Or take a truck driving class and get your Class A. Blue collar work is OK. Rewarding. And when you are done you are done for the day.
Anon, since the Fall of Man, God has ordained that we labor. But it's OK, you are up for it and will find it rewarding. One or two days a week might be a personal preference but unless you are waiting tables on weekends most employers will want you all week if at all. Please do not limit yourself from opportunities by limiting the days you are available to work, unless of course parental requirements are a factor here. Ask God to give you a job. Submit your will to His righteousness ("Your Father in Heaven knows you need these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.") His eyes are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers.
