Midazolam is evil. It causes anterograde amnesia. It first started being used in ear;y 1980s in pediatric units, supposedly to reduce anxiety in kids being separated from their parents for surgical procedures. It does not provide any paid relief, it just causes amnesia. The child is still able to function and follow instructions. I can only imagine how convenient this drug would be for pedophiles to use on kids. They are still functional but have no memory of the event.
