Actually it was three distinct 'flicks' if I remember correct.
First was DNS fuckery, anons adapted to that easily (hosts stuff)
Second was a little change in the output which left all the <imgtags without their src attribute, meaning no thumbnails. I made a little script to 'fix' this and got called a shill, whatever.
Third was the strange sequence of redirects (http 30X).
After that I don't know, I stopped caring at that point.
If they simply wanted to turn off the images they could have sent back http 503 with no output and been done with it. This can be done via web server configuration or with a script with one line of code.
The whole thing was strange, as if the intern was at the helm.
