Went to the CDC guidelines discussed by Dr. Ardis. The NIH guidelines have been updated multiple times from April 2020 so not sure which version he is referring to.

According to the NIH info there is allegedly a panel involved in covid treatment recommendations so minutes of their meetings might be interesting. Members listed.

The links I checked led to remdesivir + covid data. The Ebola study came up under a broader search for remdisivir studies completed/ suspended/ terminated/ withdrawn.

The Ebola remdisivir paper was published March 2021 and was Fauci funded and not very impressive IMHO, so maybe removed from later guidelines.

It is likely the information provided is correct altho' simplified, however Dr. Ardis' inclusion of personal and family issues /opinions could discourage potentially supportive MDs from assisting IMHO.
