Interesting question, but I still don't think anyone or anything can out smart the Prime Creator. Don't limit God with a limited mind. If he created the universe, then he created what every is messing with us too.
Imagine if God spread a bit of himself out across the universe. Free agency was the gift. Perhaps he is seeing which parts want to come home and which parts interfere with that process. Just an idea.
