Cats can fend for themselves as you said. They like to hunt my yard because no doggo. Have one come by that wants attention sometimes. Pissed off a feral momma one night because her very thin kittens were playing in my yard and I gave them some tuna so they might make it. They said thank you but momma was not pleased.
