I've had success but telling people outright isn't the way to do it all the time, sometimes it takes them seeing this crap happen with their own eyes. I'm pointing out to family and friends why these false flags are happening now, some of them have too much pride in their ability to see "truth" and so you need to let them connect some of the dots on their own. I give them just enough to do that, so in the end they think they did it. It's stupid but it works.
