Tomorrow before you drop off your ballot at a polling place. OR go there to vote. Check out this site:
https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/ballot-status/wheres-my-ballot
Fill in your information and check to see if you have voted or not. If it says you have, take` a screen cap etc. and take that with you to the polling place. Show your ID, ballot and the fact you are listed as having voted.

I checked my status about an hour ago and I am good to vote.
Don't turn your ballot over to them if it's mail in ballot and you want to vote in public. They want your unopened mail in ballot. That is how they do some of the ballot harvesting.
