Today is the anniversary of St. Helens blowing. I remember watching it go off all day back then. I was getting into my truck to go back up to the red line where I was the day before. If that mountain had blown 2 hours later then it did it would have killed me, my parents, my son and every other person up there. They had just opened up the red line for people to go up to their homes to grab stuff that weekend so many were there including media and helicopters.
