I lived in Monte Rio for a couple of years, just a mile from Bohemian Grove. Any questions about the area?
Impossible to sneak in, it's very well guarded. They have 24/7 security guards that drive around in pickup trucks with owl logos on them. They have the entire perimeter by the road used to enter the facility covered with security cameras and signs letting you know you're being watched, that's as far as I ever got to the grove, I drove to the end of that road and turned around at the entrance to the grove's drive. Along that road there are a bunch of smaller A-frame cabins that I heard from locals are vacation properties that the grove rents every year to house guests. The grove is a big seasonal hirerer too, they hire locals to work as the wait staff, cooks, etc. A few years ago they were forced to hire women too but it used to be men only. One person told me that they have the world's biggest wood fired oven there and that it takes a week or something like that of constant burning to get it hot enough to use for the elite's retreat.
Someone could try to enter it from the water, they have river front property and a floating dock, I suppose someone could float/swim over there and then enter the property from the dock. The elite and their guests have been known to sun themselves on that dock. There are stairs leading up the hillside and into the grove from the river beach there.
There is also a public park there, a Bohemian Grove Park, that used to be part of the grove but they donated to the community. It has a stage, I always thought it would be a great place to hold a rock concert political rally.. right at the elite's doorstep.
I put myself in a Monte Rio park that has very good access to the road that leads to teh grove and hung out there during the entirity of their festival and I noticed a few luxury cars going in/out but not as many as I expected which lead me to believe that the majority of the members are coming in helicopters directly into the grove.
