>Didn't follow lockdown procedure today cause fire alarm was pulled.

Usually, teachers know there will be a planned fire drill. Maybe not the exact time, but during which class period. They may be giving tests, for example, and need to know if it will be interrupted. I think an unplanned fire alarm would have led to a announcement once admin located area and had someone do a live check.

Another post said a teacher pulled the fire alarm because there was no other way to inform admin a shooting was going on (building somewhat isolated). I would think though, shots would have been heard before alarm was pulled and some witness will say that.

Could be perp pulled alarm, which is worst possible scenario. Kids automatically file out . Shooter lockdown would have them stay in room and move to corner most protected from gun fire through a door glass.

More to the story here, still, I think.
