Just got back from voting in person. The state completely changed the voting system for this election. Been voting in the same community center for 20 years, but not this time. Called the registrar of voters to ask why at the HS with students in attendence instead of the community center and was told the community center was booked for something else/not available. Went by the community center and the doors were locked and no event or activity to be seen. A couple of people pulled up while I was at the community center and asked where they were supposed to vote, and I told them at the HS 5 miles away.
Had to fill out a form saying my mail in ballot was either lost or destroyed or I would remand it in order to vote. No printed list of voters to sign (they were counting on everyone voting by mail), had to be looked up in the system and then sign a sign in sheet. At a location where there could possibly be 8~10k voters they had 8 machines, and zero parking in the HS parking lot. Every effort was made to make in-person voting as hard as possible.
Print from home ballots. Mail in ballots with envelopes that don't conceal a 'yes' vote for the recall. Moved polling place. Unusually difficult process to vote in person. SoS tried to keep Elder off the ballot. LAT hit pieces against Elder claiming domestic violence and white supremacy. CNN hit piece claiming a black man will usher in a new era of white supremacy.
Election rigged every way possible from top to bottom, and all fronts assault on voting integrity.
Guess we will have to see what happens, but I'm predicting a replay of Kamala's AG election a few years ago, the R was leading on election night by a fair margin, but after counting for a week after the election Heel's Up won.
