CIA infiltrates the Church, and the current administration seems more interested in condemning the Church than the CIA, at least in this aspect. Perhaps outing the N Korea CIA link is meant to seem like anti-CIA resolve, thus bypassing the possible scrutiny into CIA infiltration of the Church.
You can find the same ideology anywhere. NAMBLA meetings, self-help (self-love seminars), New Age mysticism, the list goes on.
